    Not made correctly for Ipad Air. Plastic on top partially covers the volume buttons. This case was sold as a case for my iPad Air and the buttons on the top don't fit correctly in the case. The case was not made correctly and the volume button has a plastic piece between it that randomly puts too much pressure on the volume button and turns my iPad volume up. I'm worried that it will eventually cause my volume buttons to break. I wouldn't buy this case again. I read reviews that said the case was beautiful too in the rose gold. It is actually more of a fake leathery gold color. My 5 year old daughter thinks it is really pretty for me it looks super tacky and cheap. Like cheap gold plastic faux leather. 1Save your money, terrible quality keyboard falls apart with minimal use Started cracking at the hinge in less than 2 months. By 7-8 months of only minimal use, this is completely come apart from the middle. The keyboard is much lighter than the ipad, and the hinge hardware is cheap plastic with tiny screws. Seen two of these Zagg keyboard have the issue, so I know mine is not a lemon, it is just poor quality product. 1College students dream!! Since starting college I always needed my laptop during classes but didn't want to carry my big HP. I was looking to buy a small laptop during black friday but decided to try this for my iPad before I spent $200 on a laptop. This was so worth the less than $20 I spent. I have classmates ask me all the time what kind of laptop I'm using. I highly recommend this. Plus the battery life last for a really long time I got mine about 2 or 3 weeks ago. And I've only charged it once and not because the battery was low but just because I wanted to see how to do it. Apparently the battery can last for 3 months. 5Second one broke too I bought one, and after a few months (almost a year) the plastic part next to the hinges broke, and I couldn't use it anymore. I was so used to it, because while it last, its amazing (reason for the seconf star) that I decidd to buy a second one and take really good care of it , thinking I might have been careless with the first one. I used the second one with "silk gloves". Never forced it, always kept it clean. I wanted it to last forever. But to my disappointment, this one broke even sooner. I bought it not even 6 months ago and it already broke in two, in the same exact way. So I guess it's a manufacture problem. 2Product hinge failure in 4 months or less. No warranty honored. This is my second and last attempt with this product. First purchase was through a retail store and product failed in 4 months. Second purchase was from here and product failed in two months. Both have defective hinge design and internally the mechanism that holds the screen and keyboard open breaks and then it just flops around uselessly. I tried to contact the manufacturer but they just make excuses for wear and tear. I do not recommend purchase of this product at all, and I suggest a "Do Not Purchase" rating. 1Pretty, Sturdy & Easy to use I am new to writing reviews, however, I am not new to ordering from Amazon. With that being said, Purple is my favorite color and I have been looking for a good folio for my IPad Air, most of the ones I have used over the years, seem to become flimsy and not sit well while trying to use it. Just to clarify, the previous ones weren't hard cases with a keyboard. I received this folio yesterday and I love the color and I must say, it seems very sturdy and the keyboard is very nice and easy to use. Setting it up was very easy, I am 51 years old and I must admit, all this new technology is trying.. It's sad when your 15 year old Grandson has to teach you how to use your smart car.. Giggle. Anyway, anyone looking for a sturdy folio for an IPad Air, this is a good choice. 5Was pleasantly surprised! It came in a nice fancy box. For the price, this is quite a bargain. I've had this since the summer. My iPad Air 2 fits perfectly. No issues snapping it on. All the holes align to the buttons. And the best part is that it's really sturdy. I take my iPad everywhere and this case keeps it protected. The keyboard is nice and feels comfortable when I type. It makes the iPad look like a mini laptop. The Bluetooth was easy to set up. And the battery is supposed to last years. There is a charger for it when the battery runs out.The only issue I have had is that I got the white one and it does get dirty. But it's my fault for not keeping it clean.But, really, I am 100% pleased with this product. Don't go spending all your money on more expensive alternatives. This case is great quality! 5A+! High quality, great feel, and the white one is cheap as dirt! ***Update after 8 months of use*** (Original review below)Ok, so I must say, I've ended up being pretty disappointed by 2 things: durability and connectability. I had a black one of these before ($50), and the hinge did eventually break, but it was after several years, so that was acceptable to me. With this white one ($16), the hinge is now broken, after 8 months of use. It started splitting a few weeks ago, and finally gave up today. The bluetooth connection has also been extremely unreliable. I would basically have to "forget" it and then pair it again every time I wanted to use it, which wasn't cool at all. Bottom line, it was $16, so cost-wise, I'm probably still way ahead with this one, but I do believe there may be more to the differences than simply color...Anyway, here's the original review:So, what the heck?! I wanted a black one, but the white was 1/5th the price. Same product - different color - cheap as dirt :o)I've been using one of these (a black one) for roughly 5 years. Never had an issue with it. The hinge finally broke, so I needed another one. Glad to find this for only $16! Definitely sticking with Zagg Folio for my iPad Air. Feels great - super sturdy and holds your iPad exactly where you put it. Never had any connection issues. Battery lasts so long I forget it ever needs to be charged. Highly recommend! 3Hinge Broke in 3 Months I expected this from reading other reviews, but the hinge only took 3 months to break. I use it daily but don t abuse it by any means, never even dropped it. Some of the keys also don t work correctly. Some I have to press extra hard or more than once to get them to work, and others give me 2 or 3 of the same letter/number when pressed. For the price I was willing to work with the finicky keys, but the extra flimsy hinge is frustrating. I m still making it work for now I taped the top and bottom of the case (which broke into separate pieces) together with mailing tape and I prop it up against something to use it. The case does seem to protect my iPad reasonably well and the keys are comfortable to type on and well laid out. I really like that there is volume control on the keyboard, and I love that the screen lock isn t directly above the delete key where it s easy to accidentally bump. The battery life is excellent. The keyboard does take a couple of seconds to wake up if you haven t used it in a while, but that s expected of any bluetooth keyboard. 24 months to useless! Lasted 4 months! It types the wrong keys and it glitches out constantly! None of the numbers work and the letters if you press "k" it will type "l". The warranty is useless and the company considers everything wear and tear related. You typed a letter and they consider it wear and tear. 1
