Very well made I now have four sets of these, and I am ordering a couple more as I have been very happy with them. I have the space grey Apple watch and if these aren't an exact match they are very, very close and look like they came with it. One thing I appreciate is that these slide nicely into the watch and give a satisfying click when they are in the proper place. Having tried a few different third-party bands, I found out that is not always the case, as some of them are hard to slide in and/or release from the watch. The bands I've been using these for are 22mm Nato bands from cheapestnatostraps-dot-com (which I also recommend). I'm giving this four stars rather than five because there is no easy way to slip the pins into the side holes (I use the blade of a knife, which works well but takes patience) - a minor irritation that wouldn't stop me from getting more of these. Also, the distance between the pin and the adapter doesn't leave room for a thicker band. I haven't had issues with any of the bands I have, but I could see a thicker leather band not working. Overall I really like these; very functional and a great way to accessorize my Apple watch. I haven't had any of the quality issues referenced in some other reviews, at least not in the four pairs I have so far. 4Almost but Not Quite Overall I am satisfied with this purchase and am keeping the adapter but am unsure if I would purchase again. Theses are not my first springback adapters. I have owned a part for several years in order to use Fossil bands with my Apple Watch. My original watch was a stainless steel and my current is ceramic. These were actually purchased for my sister who has a Space Grey 38mm Series 1. She loves my Fossil collection and wanted some bands and adapter. The company I originally used no longer sells on Amazon so here we are.Pros: The adapter fits securely on both sides. I have tried tugging at the band and there is no give. I have no worries about it coming disconnected. It fits the 20mm Fossil bands perfectly. It's like they were made for each other. And lastly, it matches the space grey watch exactly. (Note: all photos are of the adapter on my watch, not my sister's. I do not have any of hers but it is a perfect color match)Cons: The adapter is a sliver smaller that the opening for the Apple Watch width wise. It is a snug fit where it matters but comes slightly short. Honestly though, I don't think a spectator would notice.All in all it was fine to her and not worth the hassle of returning it and ordering a new one that ultimately may have the same issue. Does exactly what it was designed to. 4I had attached a custom watch band that I liked very much on to my Pebble I had attached a custom watch band that I liked very much on to my Pebble. Now that the Pebble is acting up and is no longer supported I stepped up to the Apple Watch. I hoped that I could bring my same watch band to the Apple Watch. That's when I found this product. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews of poor/difficult fit, but I'm happy to say these watch band adapters slid right in and locked into place. My pebble band is is a 22mm width so when it is mounted in these adapters there is a little bit of play on both sides but I am still happy with it. The band that Apple sells that is closest to what I have now (I'll admit the Apple one is a bit fancier) is MANY times more expensive than these adapters that let me keep the band that I was perfectly happy with. Thank you Wearlizer. 5Fits perfectly! These work pretty well. The fit is a bit tight depending on the thickness of your preferred watch strap, but I haven't had any issues with the pins popping free or anything. The adapters fit very well in the watch. I've had others where the tolerances were not as good as these and they ended up wiggling way too much to be trusted, but these are as tight and snug as the OEM Apple bands. 5not recommended. I've worked on watches for 20+ years. I know how to install spring pins. I used this to mount a standard watch band to my Apple Watch Series 2. Wore it for 2 days without incident, then, when I clapped my hands to call my dog, one of the pins disengaged from the connector, causing my watch to drop down 4 stairs and onto the concrete sidewalk, shattering the screen. $180 repair. Pin holes into which the spring pins go are too shallow and don't create enough of a seat to secure the pins firmly into the connector. Unreliable, not recommended. 1Please Include the tool needed to attach and detach the pole in the adapter. I looked everywhere for a skinny band for my Apple watch series 2 and couldn't find one anywhere, so when I found these adapters, I knew I could make my own. These adapters seem sturdier than the others that you have to screw in, just because with these, there are two connections rather than three or four, and less likely for error. The only thing I would suggest to the company is to throw in the tool that you can use to compress the pole and insert it, I have no idea how I would have attached the pole if I hadn't already had the tool (which came with another watch band with the same adapters). There were 4 poles included with the two adapters so if they break I'll already have replacements, which I really appreciate. Great product, just include the tool we need make attachment easier. It makes the watch match certain bands and gives a dressier look for certain outfits. 5Seriously increases your watch band possibilities! These guys have the right idea! This would only be better if they included the little fork tool for manipulating the spring bar. Fortunately, one came with my new watch band. I don't think I could have installed the band correctly without the tool and I'm glad it came with my band. If you don't have one of these tools, I strongly recommend ordering one.The spring bar that comes with this adapter is the perfect size for many nice watch bands. After frustration with the terrible quality third party band offerings specifically intended for the Apple Watch, I ended up ordering a beautiful, very high quality leather watch band from Shinola (which shipped with the fork tool). It was intended to be a replacement strap for models in their lineup which use 20mm bands (the size you'll need for a 38mm Apple Watch). I had the screw-type adapter already, but it turned out to be the case that the bar was too thick for the band. This adapter was exactly what I hoped it would be. Now I'm planning to order bands in a couple different colors and will be ordering more of these when I do. I think they're cheap enough that just leaving them in place after I get them installed will make swapping bands easier and I'm really pleased with the quality so far.Regarding concerns I've read in other reviews...The body of the adapter is shiny which might bother you if you have a matte watch like mine. I find that the contrast is kind of nice and with the band in place, you can barely see the adapter anyways. I've gotten tons of compliments on my new band and no one seems to notice the shiny/matte difference. I'll attach photos so you can see what you're in for. Hopefully I was able to capture it well enough. It's actually pretty subtle with the band in place.The pits for the spring bar are not super deep, but they seem to be deep enough. I'm not sure if there's a lot of variability between these adapters, but I can vouch for the set I received. The band is very secure and I've had no problems with the spring bar coming out.I did have a tricky time installing the band even with the tool. I think that's not specific to this adapter though...just the awkwardness of the tiny spring bar setup most watches have. If it helps anyone, here's what I did. I removed one band from my watch and installed the empty adapter in its place. This gave me something to hold onto. Then I put the spring bar through the new band and put one end of the bar into the notch in the adapter. I held the watch along with the partially installed band with my non-dominant hand while I worked the spring bar into place using the fork tool with my dominant hand. Once I got the hang of it, it was quick and fairly easy. 5AWESOME. Had issues, they resolved them! Magnets are extremely weak. These wobbled left and right while in my watch. Through them away after a week.UPDATE: after my review the company offered to resend another set free of charge. I can confirms that my original was a case of a faulty batch. The new ones are perfection and I'm am using them daily. Gr8 company and support! 5
