Customer Reviews

Great product I had ordered one of these for my smart TV (Samsung) and it worked so good when I needed to mount another TV (a 24 monitor) I got another. With shipping being free with the price of two, I also got one for my in-laws.Three different displays, three different conditions all three worked out great.40 , 32 and 24 with very different screw and bolt patterns and the included hardware has yet to fail me.Note that for none of these displays did I put in all six screws. The enclosed wall screws are REALLY beefy and unless you are very worried about stress form being moved a lot or have an exceptionally heavy display, I would not use all 6. 5TV Mount I like this mount for its versatility, once everything was attached it's quite nice. I used this mount for a 37" Vizio tv. Unfortunately my wall has metal studs which made it a bit more difficult for me to mount. After some tweaking with anchor screws and a piece of wood I was able to attach the mount to the wall securely.Attaching the TV to the mount was also a bit tedious. One of the screws did not grip properly so it kept spinning as I tried to tighten. However it's not so bad as the other 3 were fine, you just have to be careful when you screw it in. Another small issue I had were the bolts that allow you to position your TV to your liking, they were difficult to adjust because of the tools I had and the structure of the mount. Once I figured out how to work around these issues everything was a go. At the end I noticed a small tilt in the mount's arm probably because of the weight of tv. It's not noticeable from the front as you watch TV. In the long run I don't know how much of an issue this would be.Overall I am satisfied with the mount. 4wow! It's exactly right! This product is exactly what I hoped for! It's heavy duty and isn't about to break from the weight of my small tv. I was especially pleased that the tv mount allows you to turn the tv to a 90 degree angle from the wall, then I can push it back flat against the wall when I'm done with it. I use it while on my treadmill in one direction, or I can use it in the opposite direction when I'm at my desk. If you don't get the wall mount exactly straight on the wall (with the little level that's attached) don't worry because you can tilt the tv to straighten it out.The mounting screws are light weight aluminum, as other reviewers have noticed. I used my own 2 1/2" brass deck screws to secure to a wall stud. The light weight screws would work just fine if you are someone that can use a drill and not strip out the head of a screw. I seldom can.I originally bought a local wall mount and quickly found out that they measure from the far side of the screw hole that afixes to the tv. Since I wanted to be able to pull it out and turn my tv 90 degrees to the wall I needed a longer bracket than most people would probably need with a small tv. Great buy! 5Works fine but... Disclaimer, I used to install home theater systems and home automation so I'm no stranger to wall mounting a TV.This mount works fine. It says it supports up to 55 lbs, but I would not recommend hanging that much weight on a single arm cantilever. Invest a little more and get something more substantial. I wouldn't go much larger than a 32" TV/monitor on this mount. One point of note about this mount: the plate that attaches to the TV CANNOT be removed from the cantilever arm. You will need either a second set of arms to help install this tv, or something to set the TV/monitor on when mounting to the plate (i.e. perfectly positioned ladder?)While this was still an easy install, it would have been easier if that plate had been removable like many other mounts on the market are. 3Easy to install, works well - a little stiff in the beginning however From finding a wall stud to tightening the last screw, this took less than an hour to install.Consider how big and heavy your TV is when installing, as it is only one piece. You first install the back to the wall and then attach the mount to the TV. We have a 42" TV and it's about 45lbs - so it was a good thing there were 3 people there to help (2 to hold the TV up high and 1 to screw the TV to the unit). The arms on the mount are definitely stiff at first (you will need to use your full strength to open and close the arms (necessary for installation). Mine has been up on the wall for about 5 days and it's much easier to move now. This product is great - it does everything I need! I couldn't have asked for a better price, either.Oh, and some people mentioned that the screws that came with the mount stripped easily - we used our own ratchet set and didn't have any problems with the parts provided in the kit. The kit comes with a dinky pressed metal hex wrench - I imagine using it was how other people damaged the screws. 5Buy extra wall screws... I'm using this to support my samsung 23" monitor (2333sw). Monitor fits almost flat against the wall when not in use and extends far enough to reach my primary monitor. Being able to rotate the monitor to portrait is a nice feature. the only thing i wish it would do is bend up and down but for the price you cant beat it.there are only two things I found frustrating with this mount:1. the joints were WAY too stiff at the start, however it did loosen up a bit after a week or so. hopefully no more than that.2. the screws to mount to the wall are garbage. do yourself a favor and buy some wall screws from lowes or homedepot. otherwise you'll end up with a stripped screw 3/4 the way into the wall and your only friend will be a strong pair of vice-grip pliers . They strip as easily as computer case fan's screws yet are supposed to go into a 2x4.yes i did pre-drill. even went a second time with a larger bit. the screws to attach the monitor are good enough.other than that its perfect. 4Exactly what I was looking for, until they changed the design I bought 2 of these to mount a 20" HP monitor and a 22" Samsung TV on my desk. I use the HP as my primary monitor and the Samsung as a second monitor and for gaming. I had to do a little math to figure the proper mounting heights so the screens would be close to even with each other, and once that was done installation was a breeze. So far, the mounts have proven very sturdy, and easy to adjust. There is no height adjustment once installed, which is normal for this type of mount, so getting the wall bracket in the proper location is crucial. There is a good rotation/tilt capability, and I can use either or both monitors, or tuck them both out of the way. Once installed, the monitor can easily be removed from the bracket with no tools requiredm which allows me to simply disconnect the wires and slide the monitors out as needed. The mounting surface on my desk is particle board so instead of using the supplied hardware, I added 1/2" plywood on the back side of the mounting surface for extra support, and bolted through the whole setup with 1/4"-20 machine screws. flat washers, and elastic stop nuts.EDIT: My original review was not for this particular model. Apparently the ones that I purchased originally have been updated or replaced, as I bought another one of these mounts in January of 2015 and the design has changed. The old model number was ML60B, the new one shown on this page is ML532B. The new version does not allow the TV/monitor to be easily removed from the mount. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find the ML60B anywhere. 3Perfect I don't normally buy stuff off of the internet but I could not find this monitor mount or anything like it in any store around where I live at any price let alone $25. The closest I found was a cheap looking plastic one with only 1 arm at Walmart and it was $60. When I found out you could by Amazon.com gift cards almost anywhere and use them to buy stuff on the internet it was a no brainer. As for the mount itself, it's exactly as advertised, easy to install and made of heavy metal. I'm glad I got the one with the pivot head so I can turn the monitor landscape or portrait.I did as all of the other reviews said and used some 2-1/2" deck screws to mount to sheet rock wall, screwing into wood studs. The joint bolts take some playing with to get them adjusted exactly the way you want them to make the mount swing at the resistance you like. The only suggestion I would have is to have someone hold the mount while you mark where to drill the holes. You want to get it as perfect to level as you can. That is what is nice about the swivel head, if it is a little off of level it doesn't matter as long as it's close. All in all if you are looking for a mount for your monitor buy this one. You won't beat the quality or the price. Just buy it. 5Wall Mount for my 22" TV I was surprised with this "wall mount for TVs" and the full-motion that it has. It works fully in every way as the description states.I did find that the tilt on it wasn't as much as I expected. Once mounted the tilt is not movable. You can shift from side to side fully and it indeed turns as stated. But the low level of tilt, at least with my TV, limits the height choices for mounting. Set to the maximum tilt, viewing is distorted if mounted much higher than eye level. When choosing where you want to mount it pay attention to your TV and how it will react with the small amount of tilt.Still it is a very well made product. With the 18 inch extension of this wall mount I would be leery of putting a 27 inch television, (mine is 22"), on it unless it is a very light TV. 4Great deal, great bracket I'm not even sure how many of these I have bought...... 20? 30? More? Who knows, but I use these all over the place installing Kitchen Display Systems into restaurants. The mounting screws actually can take a beating and just use a large phillips bit. A little pre-drill and an impact driver make short work of the mounting. The built in level makes it that much easier. There is tilt and swivel built into the head. The big thing here is the swivel as I can be a little off on the install and keep the monitors square. Another great feature is the mounting. A lot of brackets aren't well thought out and can be tough to actually get the monitor mounting on it once it's on the wall. On this bracket, the whole arm mounts to the wall and just the little X part you see on the picture mounts to the monitor. There is a nice sleeve that it just slides into. No straining your neck trying to see where it lines up..... Not trying to balance a bunch of stuff. Just drop, tighten, and move on.The arm is super sturdy, heavy metal. I put about 20 lbs of monitor, mounting brackets, and hardware on the end of these things and they don't budge at all. Even fully extended at 18" there is no play in the arm with the weight on it. I haven't had one call back to fix these yet.Great product and I'll keep buying it. 5
