• The Gatorlite also utilizes UKs proprietary Thermal Recovery System (TRS) which recycles heat from the LED to warm batteries for improved performance and allows it to operate in lower temperatures than competing lights.
• The Gatorlite is also waterproof for all weather use and out performs the rest in freezing cold and wet environments. This makes Gatorlite perfect for fire, industrial, utility and safety applications.
• The Gatorlite is Class 1, Division 1 certified for use in hazardous locations and, as always, all of our products are tested in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL-1 flashlight standard ensuring valid specification detail.

Producing a beam with almost no peripheral light, the Gatorlite does not blind nearby personnel unless the beam is directly pointed into their eyes. This is due to UKs proprietary Compound Path Optics (CPO) in which the unique design of the CPO reflector captures the light and focuses it into a brighter, more concentrated beam with almost no "spill light". This more center weighted beam wont reflect off of particles in the air or water like conventional flashlights and the "high beams" on a car.
