    Bad qualityI bought these with high expectations and they fell short in every category. I own many pairs of reading glasses that I love. Got these because they had the blue light blocker. The first thing I noticed was the yellow lenses. Not attractive and other people definitely noticed it too. Next up, the style. Its not so appealing on a the face. Back to the blue light blocking feature, I noticed after the first days use that I had a horrible headache. Switched to other glasses and it went away. Resumed use with these and I had a splitting headache within hours. However, I continued to use these, thinking that it would just take time to get used to them...That s when one of the arms broke off. I didn t lose a screw - the whole arm cracked off. Sad to say that these were a complete bust.1Great purchase - Lightweight, comfortable and good quality!Glad I made this purchase...these glasses were less expensive so I wondered how they would be and the quality was actually better in person. I bought them to wear at work since I sit at a computer all day and they're light weight, comfortable and seem well made. On my first day wearing them, I received multiple compliments which was an unexpected side benefit. They come with a nice carrying case and cleaning cloth too! Also, I just went in for an eye exam and the doctor said his number one recommendation would be to wear blue light blocking glasses due to my job and I told him I just purchased these glasses to which he responded "perfect"!5Reduces eye strain and headaches from day long computer workSuper lightweight and stylish. Lots of compliments on these from others in the office. They do seem to make a difference when working on computer all day. Less headaches and eye soreness at the end of the day. Only have had them for a short time so I will continue using them and hope for continued positive results.4The SMELL is AWFUL and STRONG!Did anyone else receive the glasses and case stinking INCREDIBLY BAD????? It s like a stale cigarette odor that s very strong, (or some other chemical??) even after cleaning the case, the wipe and even the glasses I can STILL smell it. Inside the manilla envelope it was sent in- it even reeks. What in the heck is that?? I would give it a higher rating but I can t get past the stink. I m just hoping it eventually goes away or I m returning it.The glasses themselves are cute, slightly yellow tented, not a huge difference In clarity but definitely in hue. The lens do seem to have a lot of light reflecting off them and can decrease visual clarity, but I don t wear glasses so maybe that s a normal thing?? Either way, I ll keep them for now since they're cute and I need them for electronics, but only if the wretched smell goes away.UPDATE: I m sending these back. Wore them for a day in front of a computer at w To and ended up having a seriously bad headache I ve never experienced before. And the smell hasn t gone away from the case.1These were decent until . . .the bow broke. I was removing them and the left bow popped off. I've worn glasses since the age of 2 and my glasses lasted for years because I take them off and put them on properly (two hands). After being grounded for weeks for breaking glasses one does tend to learn to do it the correct way. One other reviewer posted pictures and it's the same break I experienced.When laid flat with the bows extended and the lenses right side up, the left bow was suspended in the air, confirming they were incorrectly balanced. Due to their being crooked they were uncomfortable to wear. I see other reviewers had the same issue.I posted pictures of the break and I have no idea if they're blurry or not . . .. Sadly I need reading glasses to see what I'm taking a picture of. I zoomed in and hope the images are sufficient.I'll return these and try another brand given other customers' experiences being similar to mine. I have little faith the next pair will be better. Folks keep saying these are cheap, but at $15, that's 2 hours of work for a minimum wager, that's not cheap at all. Cheap is the 6-pack of glasses that can be purchased for $12. For $15 per pair I expect better quality.Aside from the trouble they were working well. They were definitely crooked and perhaps that was the fault of the defective bow. The right lens sat heavily on my cheek, leaving a line after more than 20 minutes of being worn.The lenses were clean and scratch-free. The yellow hue they have was nice for staring at Excel worksheets and QuickBooks for hours. I'm disappointed the bow broke as I was beginning to get accustomed to these.They came in a hard shell case with a cleaning cloth and the case is nice looking, precisely as pictured at the time of this posting. The cleaning cloth is black instead of white. Not a big deal, but for the sake of those who may have a fit over such detail, the cloth may be a different color. I prefer the black myself - better at hiding dirt.1Reduce eye strain/glare from screens and fluorescent lights, great purchase for the priceThese are working well for me so far! I'm a grad student so I experience lots of eye strain reading/computing etc. I've been wearing these for the past few days while using the computer consistently and while working hours in a lab that uses fluorescent lights. These make a huge difference for my light blue eyes as well, and reduce the intensity of the fluorescent lights. The tint on the glasses is dark enough to be helpful but it is not dark enough for others to notice while I'm wearing them, so I can wear them in class without looking like a weirdo. As a plus, I love the style of these and was surprised that they fit my somewhat narrow face very well.The material is super lightweight plastic, but they don't "look" plastic from a distance - they look like regular, cute glasses. The case that they came in is a simple but nice zip-up case, perfect for sticking in my backpack and carrying around with me at all times.My only slightly negative comment is that there is a very subtle plastic-y odor that I get a hint of sometimes. It might be the smell of the case, because it is not too noticeable after I first put the glasses on. Most people would probably not notice, but I am sensitive to smells. I just got these glasses, so I imagine whatever the smell is will completely disappear with time.Overall, happy grad student!5Did Not Work For MeI love the look of these glasses! However, I did not find that they worked for the intended purpose. The lenses have a yellow tint to them but they do not work to block out the blue light coming from my computer screen. I get horrible headaches daily due to my computer usage, so I was really hoping that these would work!I gave the glasses about a week of use to test them out and unfortunately, I did not experience any reduction in daily headaches. So, I went online and Googled "blue light blocking glasses test" and went to several websites that offered an online test. The glasses did not pass any of the tests.I am giving 2 stars for the overall look and design on the glasses. They look great on and I think they would complement a wide range of facial shapes. Also, they would be nice for both men and women.I cannot recommend these glasses and ended up returning them to Amazon for a refund.2WORKED FOR ME!Was getting severe headaches in the late afternoons. Saw my doctor who thought it.might be sinusitis (seasonal), and treated it as such. No help. Saw my ophthalmologist, eyes perfect. Finally I came to the conclusion that my daily hours on the computer might be the problem. Bought 2 pairs of these blue blockers, headaches disappeared. Not recommending that you bypass a visit to your doctor, simply staying that these glasses worked for me.5Good for eye strain, but cute too!These glasses were just what I needed to reduce eye strain from staring at my computer at work! My eye started twitching from the strain and I wore these pretty consistently for a couple weeks. I have been wearing them less now that the twitch has improved but still keep them at my desk for days when I have more computer work. They are super cute! And they re AMAZING!! Absolutely love them!! I was skeptical about the price. I just recently learned about blue light blocking glasses when I took my 7yr old son to his annual Eye exam. We left with a pair for him, non RX for $40. I found that I kept using his glasses and couldn t look at my phone or computer anymore w/out them! realized this is probably why I get so tired daily working in front of a computer.
