    A+Great quality, fast speed; works perfectly to get full 2650x1600 resolution on my Dell 3008wfp monitor from my GTX 770 video card.5Didn't make a good contact with the monitor jackDidn't make a good contact with the monitor jack, producing no image or corrupted image. Replaced it with another one, which was the same. Got another brand, which worked without any problems.1Great cable for the price, works like expected.Replaced one that I lost in a move, and I am able to use my computer with two monitors again... It worked as expected and I cannot say more, a digital cable is a digital cable the signal either reaches the other end or it does not and thankfully in this case it does. Don't be fooled by over priced cables, digital signals are on and off, they only need to make it to the other end of the cable, and you will get the same picture as you would with a much more expensive brand name cable. I would buy this again if I needed another one.5Unacceptably poor quality signalI tried to use this with my Dell 3007 WFP-HC monitor which has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 using a dual link signal. The result was tons of visual noise. In comparison my existing ~6ft cable produces no visual noise, I was just hoping for a shorter cable run.1Excellent short cable Excellent short cable. Fairly stiff though, so if you're looking to conceal it within a small area you may have to do some twisting. Ends seemed smaller than they did in the picture, which was great. Tightened in securely and helped me remove 3 or so feet of unneeded wound cable. No problems. 4DOA product - pins don't even line up!I received this cable and put it in our road kit. It was over 30 days before I got a chance to use it. But when I did, it was DOA out of the bag. Now, I cannot return it and it was just a waste of money. On both ends of the cable, the pins do not fully extend on the DVI connector. Looks like a QC issue.1Cheap connectors, but you get a pictureFor video, these display it. However, the "thumbscrew" connectors (quotes because my thumbs are unable to ever use this type of connection on most monitors since they sit so close to the panel itself when the connector is attached) on the ends do not accept Phillips head screwdrivers. I find a Phillips head is the easiest way to assure a solid connection with thumbscrew connectors, especially when connecting to something like a flat panel where the connectors are too close to get a good grip with most human thumbs.These connectors are also longer than I find necessary, thinner than many I have worked with, and made of a soft, cheap plastic that gives out when using a flat head screwdriver before a reasonable connection can be made to a monitor (this happened on 100% of the cables I ordered, and this has happened before).It has led to several problems where, when rotating my screen, the video cable pulls out (because it is difficult to assure a proper connection) making these pretty much useless. I also will be hesitant to order Startech parts again as I am left wondering what other corners may be cut, and what similar shortcuts are taken with other offerings.1Just What I Needed...I got these to have handy when I get my next monitor. They feel very well made and are long enough to reach where ever I need the monitor placed without a problem. These are the DVI-D type plugs and that's the way I plan on going when I buy a new monitor later this year. They feel very well made and the plug and all look and feel solid and made for use. We'll see how they work and then will update if needed....Not bad...5Defective Untested UselessDefective cable: meter shows pin 24 shorted to ground and not connected to pin 24 at the other end. Obviously this cable was not tested. Unfortunately, I bought this last October and just needed to use to today. So I'm way past my 30-day return period. What can I do about its lifetime warranty? Its got sturdy construction and you can tell it will last a long time as long as your not careless with it.Works fine with my Asus vg248qe 24' for 1080p 144hz gaming5Cheaper alternative to big box store cablesI changed the setup of my computer, and found the 6-foot cable I had been using was just a little short. One big-box computer store only had similar 6-foot cables, so I went to a national office supply store. They had a long cable, but wanted $40 for it.I bought this cable for about ten bucks, and have at least two feet of slack. It worked right out of the envelope (after arriving on the due date). Beyond that, it's a cable. I DID note that it was thicker than my existing 6-footers.4Real good quality product enough diameter to tunnel quality picture and ...
