great caseI got a new MacBook Pro. I travel and use this stuff constantly and can be a little rough on it. So I wanted a case. I'm also thinking about doing a vinyl wrap so I went with clear.Anyway - this was same day delivery for me and at a great price.Showed up, snapped on like a champ, appears to do a good job keeping stuff off my pretty new laptop.5Really satisfied with my purchase!I needed a new case and ended up taking my chances on this clear case after reading other reviews. For the price, it's a really great product! I have a rose gold MacBook, and I love the way this case makes the color of my MacBook look super nice and shiny! It also has a good feel to it. If I'm able to edit this review later, then I'll try to take pictures of it.I think that the only downside is that it's really easy for the case to collect bits of dust or crumbs or hair, so when you're snapping it on for the first time, make sure that the case is spot-free. Other than that, I'm really happy with this case.My last case was a wine red one from a different seller where it started to quickly chip on the corners and the color started to rub off. I don't have to worry about that happening to this one since 1) it's crystal clear and 2) I also have a laptop sleeve to carry my laptop around. Luckily, this case is thin enough for the laptop to still fit in my sleeve. I'll take good care of this.5STEP 1! CLEAN THE DEVICE! READ MEI bought a used MacBook Air from Mid 2012 11 (inches) from eBay that was already a bit banged up and scratched... but I still wanted to protect it because I take care of what I own. I found this case at a decent price, read other reviews, and thought it d be a good purchase. Little did I know the headaches this would bring me.....The case looks good once you pull it out. Came with some sticky white balls, and I applied it to the bottom cover on the inside, and then tried fitting it on (they didn t specify what the balls were for) and then the case didn t fit on right (the bottom piece). So I took them off, put them back on the white sheet they came on, and I guess I ll be saving them for later. The bottom piece feels weird. It s like, not tight. It looks bulky from the back, and just doesn t feel right.The top piece.. oh don t get me started. I began by testing to see if the top would even fit. Little did I realize, the top snaps on so easily. I look, and yeah... it fits.. but the bottom of it looks all dirty! So I needed to now take the top piece off. After nearly breaking both thumb nails, I finally managed to snap it off. I was gonna leave it, but it looked bad and plus the 3 tabs were on the top, and the two tabs on the opposite side were on the bottom so I obviously put it on the wrong way (amateur mistake... avoid them by reading this!)Again, after nearly losing two thumb nails I cleaned the laptop (WHICH SHOULD BE STEP 1!) and then I snapped it on with the three tabs on the bottom, and the two tabs on top (near the camera). Yay! (Is what I thought)Finally, the top and bottom pieces are on... but the bottom again still.. feels weird. Now... I don t know if this next part of what I m about to say is because the MacBook is used, or if that s how they all are, but before putting on this case the screen used to bend all the way back (not literally but a lot). Now, the case tabs (bottom and top) like fight each other so you can only bend it back a certain way to a certain angle / degree. If you bend it more, it feels like it ll break, plus the bottom piece always loosened when I tried.Overall... this is like a 3.5/10 case. You get what you pay for. By the way, I got the clear case. Looks cool, but one hell of a hassle. Because of my mistakes I ended up only scratching the damn MacBook even more.For those of you who just bought a brand new MacBook, or if you currently have one that looks great, don t buy this case. You ll regret it. Go for another brand, or buy a rubber one (my personal option had this been new... but I wanted to save money).Best of luck! Upon receiving it, I noticed that, although beautiful, the MacBook 12 is very slippery, and the finish looked like it would scratch and if it can scratch, wife can find a way to scratch it!Unboxing, I was surprised at how sturdy, yet flexible the thin membrane is. It's a beautiful smoky color, and the silicon texture now makes the Macbook un-slippery. Now it can sit on her lap and if it falls, the silicone cover will hopefully absorb the blow and protect the finish. By the way, putting on the two covers was so easy it was just silly. Highly recommended!5Most durable case/cover I've ever hadThis is the third clear plastic case I've bought for my MacBook pros and air. I've had it for 10 months now, and it hasn't cracked anywhere. The previous cases I've purchased cracked within 3 or 4 months. I just accepted that's the way hard cases are, and kept them until I sold the computers. But this one hasn't cracked. At $12.00, it's also the least expensive case I ever purchased. My only complaint is the rubber feast keep coming off, and I've lost 2 of them, or else I would've given it 5 stars. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a good looking, durable, clear plastic case.4Love the 4 anti-slip white silicone feet.Not easy to find nowadays covers for an 11" Mac Air laptop so I'm happy I came across this one after being disappointed with two others, one from Specks and one from Pasonomi. Nice, thin and smooth to the touch and best of all, the vented bottom cover allows for heat disbursement. After only 3 weeks of use, seems to be sturdy.If you are looking for a bright color (as I was), just note the Marsala red is not as bright as it seems on the screen, it is more of a subdued, wine red tone. I've come to like it now. :-)5Protective but built cheaplyI ve only had the case for 2.5 months and it has already peeled all over and cracked in several places.
