Customer Reviews

I can't give this item a bad rating, but can't given perfect either...I usually trust wiremold for my cord management, so I got this on a whim and crossing my fingers. Overall, it does do the job, not great, and the sticky option is not perfect, count on using some 3M or whatever doublesided stuff you like to use...Price: cheap... material actually feels sturdy and well made, and can't beat it for the price. Comes without enough footage to cover most needsInstallation: very simple, get your leveler out, feed your cords in first, then just apply, i used the sticky option just in case i didn't like it, and so far it has been ok, started to peel off a bit, so I just used some 3M tape to keep it onSummary -- >Pros: inexpensive, fast shipping, pretty quality material, easy fix for most applicationsCons: the actually supplies used to keep it on the wall aren't very efficient regardless if you decide to do that screw and anchor route or the sticky route, I probably won't be keeping this cord cord on much longer. Just pay the extra money, and go with wiremold products, I have never had a problem with them yet.. 3Honestly, I got what I paid for.....This cable maintenance system is okay. I knew that it would just be satisfactory when I purchased it though. You always get what you pay for and with that I didn't want to spend a lot of money for my guest bedroom. Had I done it again, I would have just paid the extra $10 to buy a better looking and more functional system. I did write another review for the product that I bought for my other 2 TV's which have a lot more components routed through them. They were much better, easier to install and look WAY better after installed! Don't cheap out. This is okay if it's what you have to spend but the install is not user friendly and if your back tabs on the wall are off by even a millimeter then your covers don't line up perfectly. If you are a perfectionist like me, it will drive you crazy! Again, it's in my guest room so I don't have to look at it everyday but I will probably replace it someday soon! :) The other product I bought was Bello CMS169W Cable Management System and I LOVE IT! 3Very Customizable!I just finished installing these wire covers to hide the wires running to my TV over the fireplace, and I absolutely love them!I needed a 4' vertical run with two short horizontal runs on either end to completely hide the wires between the AV components and the TV, so I bought two kits. I also cut two of the straight sections to the exact lengths I needed to perfectly align the wires with their receptacles. A simple 20 degree cutting angle will allow you to cut shorter sections that work identically as the full section, including connecting to the brackets, aligning to adjacent sections, and adding end caps.I used drywall anchors to mount most of the brackets except where I couldn't screw into the wall due to gas or power in the way. The adhesive strips worked great in those locations, and grip the bracket very well after applying pressure only briefly. The sections align perfectly and blend in fabulously with the wall after painting.I was able to run all of the wires I needed though the brackets with plenty of room to spare. This included power for the TV, an HDMI cable, a cat 6 network cable, a quad-shield coax cable, a pair of wires for the center channel speaker, and a toslink optical cable for the TV's audio return. I ran the audio cables down one of the sides, power cable down the other side, and network and video through the middle. If you don't have video switched externally and need to run multiple HDMI cables, there is plenty of room for at least 2-3 more in my setup, in addition to all of the other wires. The only way I can see that you could possibly run out of space in the conduit is if you have several component/audio inputs, as those use 5 wires rather than the single HDMI wire.Overall, these are simple to install, though somewhat time consuming to do right. Once installed, they look great, especially if painted to match the wall. And they are highly functional, easy to run wire through, and the covers are easily removed to add/remove cables as needed. I can't imagine any better setup to discreetly run wires without cutting into the wall! 5Easy solution for hiding unsightly wiresI was a little bit nervous after reading some of the bad reviews on here, but these covers worked perfectly to hide the wires when I mounted my TV. I thought I was going to have to paint them to match my wall, but when I opened the box I discovered that they are not the glaring white color like they appear on amazon. Instead they are a subtle off-white that blends with my wall color quite well. I had three HDMI cables, an aux cable and a power cord to hide and this cover hid them all well. Because I only had a 6-inch space that needed covering, I only had to use one of the units. It was easy to install (I used screws instead of the adhesive strips) and took less than 10 minutes total.Really, any wire covers are going to look like wire covers, but I don't think this one is horribly noticeable and I'd rather have this than a bunch of unsightly cords! 4Nice fit and finish, clean look on the wallThese worked great for me. I have two lengths fully installed on the wall in living room to hide the cables from my Samsung TV, which I recently mounted on the wall with an OmniMount kit purchased at Sam's wholesale club (I love the TV mount as well, by the way). Based on other reviews, I decided to skip using the sticky tape and use small screws instead. I was able to get away with using one small screw per mounting bracket (two brackets per cover), into the wall stud. While I don't really like making holes in the wall, I feel that it is the only definitive way to eliminate frustration of falling off the wall. I was able to tuck 2 HDMI cables, TV power cable, and a 3 wide RCA cable (L/R audio+video) under the cover. This seemed to be the absolute limit of what the covers could handle, but I was able to tuck them into the bracket wire holders nicely and the covers slid into place pretty easily with no bulging. I expect to remove the covers soon and paint them to match the wall color, then reinstall. 4Works great if you have some common sense....A lot of people have complained about the adhesive not holding the tracking on the wall. They shouldn't really advertise adhesive installation as an option, but these people also lack common sense. Firstly, there is no way the small adhesive strips should be expected to hold up the tracking and all the cable you will shove into it. Secondly, I'd much rather spackle some small holes than have to deal with the wall all ripped up from removing strong adhesives. If you bin the adhesive strips and screw the brackets to the wall this cable management works great. I installed this in a room with wood paneling so I swapped the included hardware for some small 3/4" pan head screws. I fit a garden-hose size HDMI cable, the big fat cord coming from a power strip, three speaker cables, and an IR control wire in with room to spare. The brackets hold everything and then you can just snap the covers on when you are done getting it all setup. It's easy to mount since aside from the corner (which comes with a template) the placement of the brackets along the length of the cover does not need to be precise since they will snap in anywhere. I made a level tape line and then just used one of the covers to estimate where to put the brackets along that line.Compared to a lot of generic cord management covers on the market, this is nicer looking because of the dome shape instead of looking like an industrial conduit running around your walls. It also has a wide, sweeping corner which is better suited for HDMI cables that shouldn't be bent sharply. I painted mine brown to match the room using a satin finish plastic compatible spraypaint and had excellent results. They have a slightly textured finish so the satin paint is much better looking than gloss would be. Everything still fit together and had no problems. 5Best For The MoneyI have bought a few different cable management covers from various companies and these are bar far my best. I needed the 4.25 inch width for all the cables I was running. Please reference my pictures for my installation and explanation of wires I ran. I also spray painted them to match with PlastiKote and they came out great. Highly recommended if you are in need of something to hold a bunch of wires. Oh I purchased two packages for my particular install. 5Hides Cables GreatThis is a great product to hide cables if your TV is wall mounted or want Hide cables anywhere else. You can use adhesive to hook this down or screw it down. You just stick the clips to it, then stick it to the wall, remove by sliding it off the clips, and run wires through it, then snap it back to the wall. When i First got this I was a little worried about how many cables can go through this. So far right not, I have a HDMi, Coax (both thick), Digital optical, a phone line, 3 speaker wires running though it. The HDMi and Coax cable take one side uo and the rest are in the other side, (theres a support piece in the middle to hold cables and keep it from caving in). The 2 thick cables were a little hard to bend through the 90 degree piece. I had to screw that to the wall and used adhesice on rest. One of the pieces adhesive comes of so i used a double-sided adhesive i bought on my own. The piece to place the screws on the corner piece is great and makes installation easy. It was easy to paint and blends in easy. I also cut one of them which was not difficult, you can probably use a knife or sissors to cut it. The Cons are that the adhesive is not that strong (remember to slide these off, not to yank them like I did)and this is not completely flat against the wall, it is slightly off. Its not that big of a gap, but it makes the product look like a add-on and not part of the wall. 4FINALLYThis worked best for us, easy to manage the sections. We could get all the cable, plugs, roku, etc into the system & broke it up for the pesky transformer boxes & "too short" cords for our wall mount TV :( There are little crossbars we double face taped to the wall, then fed wires, & easily popped the cover on. They come with screws but the tape is working fine.We also double face taped the pesky power strip & boxes to the wall. Please save us from these ugly wires!I'm giving it 5 because it was the easiest to work with - we've bought everything from "behind the wall" & other options and were ready to give up. 5Works Great!!I mounted my 42 Plasma on the wall in the bedroom because I was tired of looking at it on an old TV stand that was too short. The 4 Inch cover were easy to install and the cable tracks are large enough to hide 1 coax, 2 HDMI, 2 Power cords and RCA wire with plenty of room. There was enough room for me to loop the extra slack behind the cable covers. I tried to use the sticky back tape and this did not work at all. The tape was not strong enough to stay secure on the wall for the amount of wires I was trying to hide. The supplied screws seemed too long, so I used shorter screws left over from another project. I did not need all four pieces for this project, I used the left over pieces to hide the wires in my son's room wall mounted LCD. My friends want me to help them mount their TVs the same way because they like to clean look of the mount/cable covers. 5
