Customer Reviews

At last a cord solution! So far this is the best solution to those ipod earphone (corded) entanglements. Personally, I do not trust the cordless ear buds to not fall out or disappear. Owned Beats blue tooth phones for a while but the unit died after two years. Am back to the old traditionals ear buds with my iPhone 6 and LG Android phones. This little unit is easy to use and clips onto my keychain if I so desire. Ordering a couple more! 5The Sharp Edges will cut soft cable jacketsThis is a nice little cable wrap, but be cautious when using with headphones with soft cable jackets. I tried using this with my old UrbanEars I use for travel, and the sharp edges cut the rubber cable jacket. Now my headphones cables are cut and i'll need to replace the headphones. See the photo for reference. (I taped the cable, thinking it was cut by something else. The next time I wrapped them up, the were cut again.)1Fantastic!It's small so it doesnt take too much space. The material is rubbery and the holes are tiny to once wrapped, the headphones do not get undone. They stay wrapped in place! My headphones for samsung and iphone would always be intertwined in my bag. Now they sit separately minding their own businesses. Happy headphones, happy user :). I ordered one to test and just ordered another one. Highly recommend for people like me hate to spend 5 mins on untangling earphones before use everyday!5Does what it saysIt does what it says, but I'm not really convinced this is the best way to store your earbuds. The cord gets twisted, and the wires inside kink up. It works for storage, but I ended up getting a wireless set for my primary- so I'll keep the earbuds wrapped up as backup.3Awsome Cord Keeper Curvyman cord keepers are high quality and outstanding. I keep my iPhone headphones in my pocket, since headphones are great for taking calls on the go. However, they get tangled up and easily break. Cord keepers help to keep your headphones in great shape. I've used a number of different cord keeps over the years, but Curveyman cord keepers are the best size for wrapping headphones with a microphone and are extremely well made. My last one lasted for 4 years. 5OK but would not recommendPrice was a little high, and the functionality is so-so. I bought it as a way to corral my earbud cords in my purse. It's a lot smaller than I expected and it doesn't work if your ear buds have a volume or microphone built into the cord. They will wrap around but the edge of the microphone will stick out and make it bulky. I did use it with my other ear buds that do not have a built in microphone and they worked fine. One thing I noticed is that you have to pull pretty hard to get the cord out of the little slots. I can see this erroding the coating around the cord over time and ruining the ear buds. Don't use this with expensive ear buds for sure.Bottom line? Not recommended.3Didn't work for my earbuds I got this to use with a set of Bose earbuds. The Bose buds came with their carrying case that is nearly the size of an iphone. That's overkill for a set of earbuds, no matter how much they cost. So I got a curvyman thinking it would be a good solution to keep the cord neat where I keep my earbuds stashed when not in use: in their own pocket in my purse. Well the earbud cables are apparently too thick so I had to cut into the curvyman in order to open up the holes to secure the cord. It worked but I'm disappointed. I could have just carved something out of an old rubber pinch coin purse. Would have been a lot easier.FYI: before carving mr curves I also tried using him to wrap the earbud cables for the set that came with my Roku. Those worked mostly ok but the cord holes were really tight. So if your cable is like a thread: curvyman is going to be your friend. Otherwise you'll have to commit an act of violence on curvyman in order to get him to agree to work for you. Threatening him is not enough! 2More trouble than helpThe curvyman is durable and well built, but is not easy to use. Since I purchased this months ago, I've probably only used it to wrap my headphones about 3 times. There are much easier and better designed products on the market. I'd be more disappointed if I paid more than the $2 I did. Buy something that is more functional. This design doesn't seem to account for the mic and volume controls of the apple earbuds.2perfect shape and design, would prefer lighter/more flexible this is basically perfect in shape, but I would like it a little lighter, more flexible and thinner and the cord holes a little easier to get the cord in and out -- as I use this just to contain the cord when I'm not using it - it want it to be easier to wind and detach when a call comes in, not as a permanently shortened holder 4Good design, not as usefulGreat idea on paper, but not so much in practice. I like simple headphones and always carry them when traveling, so thus designed seemed compact and useful. When I tried to use it I noticed that the slots to start and end the rolling and quite tight and required to bend the piece to fit the cable in. After using it on a trip, I noticed my headphone cable had deformed a bit due to the tight corners on this piece. Overall, looks good but I don't see myself using it much.3Keeps it organized in my pocketI like that it keeps from making a mess in my pocket as well as keeping it compact. A minor issue I have is with the volume rocker on my earbuds is just a bit longer, so I have to wrap it a specific way so the wires at each end aren't bending/ripping. Other than that, it is what it is and works great.4Handy little gizmo, good valueI made something similar to this out of cardboard and craft tape. This works a lot better. My version went to the garbage can.The material is fairly think (about 1/8"). It's flexible, but very resistant to bending, at lest when new. The ear buds cord doesn't get bent around the edges unless you really try to wrap it tight.I've removed the clip because I never walk around with ear buds on. The clip worked well when I tried it out on my jacket. Not very handy if you need to use the front zipper as the picture shows, but I used a side pocket zipper and that worked well.I got the black one (cheapest after shipping).5A very clever item!Earbuds and small charging wires are always getting tangled, making their use more difficult. Throwing them into a small pouch doesn't fix this problem, rather it almost insures that they'll be tangled the next time you go to use them. This very simple device goes a long way to fixing that problem. Take the earbud end and snap the cord into flexible circular cutout at the top and pull them snug. Then quickly wrap the cord around the body and snap the plug end into the bottom cutout. Voila! Neat, clean, and done in 2 seconds. The only downside I see is that earbuds that come with volume controls on the cord might not lie flat if the control comes to the edge of the body, but it's easy to adjust the tension of cord at the top hole to allow it to move 1/4" to fix the problem. For the price, you can't go wrong. I'm buying another couple of these in different colors to satisfy the neurotic side of my personality! Seriously, they're a very clever, inexpensive idea for keeping small cords from getting hopelessly tangled!5No-phone earbuds only; barely subs for two fingersFeels like a back-of-napkin design that was never quite fleshed out.It may work okay for straight in-ear buds -- the kind used ONLY for listening to audio, but not supporting phone calls -- but that's about it. The long, plastic piece of the phone-call-supporting earbuds has nowhere to go, the plastic is too stiff, and the notches for retaining the cord ends are too stiff and narrow; it feels like the wire covering would wear away. This one's not even worth keeping around; heading straight to the trash.2
