    NOT HappyThe battery compartment latch will not stay closed after owning it about two weeks! It has been working perfectly and I am so happy to have the same remote that I am familiar with using. 5Worthy replacment for lost original.This remote was a replacement for the original that came with the TV, a few months after we bought the remote we found the original one and I have to say besides the "VIZIO" branding on the original remote there are no noticeable differences at all as far as button quality, lifespan and responsiveness of the TV. If you are looking to replace your remote this is the product to get. 5Could NOT Get It To Work With My TVI was pretty bummed out when my current Vizio remote started going on the fritz. I am lazy by nature, especially when binging on Daredevil or Luke Cage or something else on Netflix or Amazon Prime. I don't want to get out of my chair to do something so pedestrian as change the channel or turn the dang thing on or off. That's what my remote is for!I purchased this one because according to the part number and specs, it should have lined up perfectly with my current TV.But nope. Fresh batteries, hitting buttons, nothing works. Sent it back and got a refund immediately.My recommendation, and what I'm going to do, once my current remote finally dies, is go directly to Vizio and purchase my remote there. They have them for less than twenty bucks and are guaranteed to work with your TV. 1Fragile. Have electrical tape readyIt worked great for about 10 days until we dropped it. It landed on the hardwood floor, battery case first. The battery case door permanently broke. We were able to tape it back up with electrical tape, and it's worked fine ever since.Here's the thing...the exact same thing happened to the identical remote that came with the TV. It must be something about he design of the remote that when it falls it usually lands on the same spot and breaks in exactly the same way. If you never drop your remote (or have soft flooring), it's great. I wouldn't buy it again, though. 2Good replacement remote.An excellent replacement for a well worn remote control that came with the TV set. After while, they all get a little sluggish and battle weary from using them so much and I wasn't sure what to do --- the saw this replacement on Amazon and once the batteries were installed it was even better than the original. This worked great. Someone dropped our original remote at a rental unit and had taped the battery cover closed. Rather than leaving that in the unit we ordered this remote via prime and threw the old one in the trash as soon as this proved to be an exact replacement. 5NOT WORKING. TRY THISPut in fresh batteries the wrong way both of them (negative to positive and positive to negative). Then take them out and put them in the right way and press the TV button pointing towards the Television .
