pure white light. nice and bright. get these!Perfectly white light. not that yellow nastiness. 1.5k lumens. can't beat that. My house is no longer a dungeon! I rarely add pics to reviews, but this one deserved it. I have 4 of that bad boys in that light fixture at the top. The yellow on the left side is the another room (the kitchen) with the yellow bulbs I had replaced. Do you want your house to look nice and white or yellow like somebody who doesn't brush their teeth? The extreme starburst at the top where the light bulbs are in the pic are purely there from my cheap phone camera. Those starbursts don't exist in real life, but the room is that bright 'in real life'. No photo enhancements or edits were done. The bulbs are just that bright. It is pitch black outside so no outside light is 'helping' the room any. I love these bulbs. About a year ago I had purchased a different brand of bulbs from some other guys, where those 'other' bulbs had flickering problems. These bulbs have had no flickering problems for me. all 6 of them worked. I ordered another 6-pack of these "LUNO A19 Non-Dimmable LED Bulb, 14W (100W Equivalent), 1500 Lumens, 5000K (Daylight), Medium Base" bulbs. If any have problems, I'll post an update here. For those of you who don't know, the "K" measurement is the 'color' of the light. 5k is white, while 3.5k is yellow (called warm light by some). The 'lumens' are just that; the 'illumination', or amount of light that the bulb outputs. I hope the pic helps folks out. I was tired of folks only showing the light bulbs or only the floor or a close-up. This is the whole room, where I have a high, vaulted ceiling and a rather large living room that those bulbs are lighting up. To me, white light gives a 'happy' mood, whereas the yellow lights are dull, depressing.... like a dungeon (in contrast). My opinion, of course.5No winter SAD for me this year!!When I switched to all LEDs in the basement of my home, I transformed it from a gloomy cave into a livable space. My electric bill drop significantly! Significantly. Sig-ni-fi-cant-ly. Score one for me!I did the same upstairs and was very pleased with the new look. Not all LEDs are the same though. These are by far better than the ones I'd purchased earlier. Now, I know this is too bright for most, but I chose 5000k Daylight bulbs. I have enough lamps around the house that I am able to turn off the bright ones and create a more peaceful atmosphere as evening arrives. This is essential for anyone considering purchasing bulbs of this magnitude. You'd go crazy if this were your only source of light throughout the house. Mornings are brighter, along with my attitude towards the coming day. I love them. I haven't received an electric bill yet, but don't really care. I've learned the results from my basement venture and have already reaped the rewards of having them light up my kitchen, making even cooking a happy task.If you suffer from the winter blues as I do, please do yourself the favor of investing in these bulbs. Use them judiciously. You may not need them in the bathroom, for example, and you definitely don't want to have them everywhere including your bedside lamp. It has made such a difference! I no longer need or use the sun lamp I turned on every morning for 20 minutes for years. That is laughably out of date. I want to move around my house in joy! The old "under the lamp" assistance felt medicinal. This feels like a life upgrade. I hope you feel the same. It has been an incredible experience so far.5Shop around a bit prior to purchase, overall good quality.I bought these to replace all the CFL and regular bulbs around my new place. The original intent was to reduce the wattage used in comparison to the bulbs already installed. I like the instant-on and brightness these led bulbs provide, and at a much lower cost to keep on.After some shopping around after purchase I did notice that Lowe's had a slightly lower wattage led bulb than these (60 watt equivalent) for less money which was a bit disappointing, but hey, I'm not going to disconnect them and return them now, I should have shopped around better I guess.Overall a good quality item but a little more homework could have gotten me a cheaper bulb for less cost upfront and in the long term on my electric bills.3Excellent color and quality...so farI, unlike most LED buyers it seems, want a 'cool white' colored led bulb for my kitchen and bathrooms. I have bought other brands and been disappointed in the rapid failure rates of their bulbs. This is the first time I have bought the LUNO brand and all the bulbs are still working a week later, so I am very hopeful. It may seem that a week is a very short time to determine quality and it is, but I have had failures in other brands in a matter of days.Also, the color and brightness of these LUNO's is just perfect. I love these and hope they last a very long time.Update: I have used the bulbs for months now and had not a single failure. I am very pleased and just ordered a set of 75w equivalent bulbs from them.5A bright, white light.These bulbs replaced the more yellow fluorescent bulbs in the bathroom fixture and bedroom lamps. We wanted a brighter light above the mirror and these were a good replacement. We adjusted to the whiteness of the light in a day or so.We have other 4k colored lights, but these are whiter than our other LED lights claiming a 4k light. They were too white in the living room, we went back to some 2700k lights there. Would like to see a 3k light as an option.If you want a white light, these are the bulbs for you!4These bulbs are just right: they are bright and neither too orange nor too blueThese LED bulbs hit the sweet spot for basic replacements for incandescent bulbs: 1100 lumens, 4000 K. They are bright without being excessive (I find the common 800-lumen 60-watt equivalent LEDs just not bright enough) and a comfortable white color, neither the orange "warm" 2500 K to 2700 K of many LED bulbs nor the very white "blue" 4500 K to 5000 +K of most others. I like that "blue" light for office or work space, but it is a bit clinical for household lighting. For some reason, the intermediate color temperatures are hard to find in stores. These bulbs can't be dimmed, but if you don't have dimmer switches, that does not matter. They make no detectable sound (some LEDs buzz, which for me is a deal-breaker). And the price is good. I will definitely buy these again as we replace more failing old CFLs and a few last incandescents. I have a few Philips Hue ambient white smart bulbs whose "white" color temperature can be adjusted, dimmed, and turned on and off wirelessly... but they are not as bright (only 800 lumens) and are much more expensive. A mix of a few smart bulbs where appropriate and more of these bright "dumb" bulbs in other places makes sense.5So far so good!I love the neutral white of these 40w equivalent LED bulbs. I have posted a picture in the bathroom of the 60w equivalent daylight bulbs. Both are working well and no flicker. I have ordered additional 40w to finish replacing the CFL bulbs. The 60w are very bright and I found them too much for living room lamps but perfect for bathroom, laundry room, and porch. The 40w are great for dining room, kitchen, and lamps.5Outstanding LED light. It really produces 100W Equivalent Light.I have been buying LED lights since they came out -- And were stupid expensive. The problem with all of these modern energy saving bulbs is they don't put out anywhere near the light of the old fashioned incandescent bulbs. That has been my gripe about LEF and CFL bubbles until now. These LUNO A19 bubbles are awesome. The put out a nice smooth light that does not flicker. It is a perfect task light, office light, kitchen light, garage light, basement light, etc. The only thing to keep in mind is this particular bulb is either on and bright or off. It is not dimmable. In situations where you need bright and excellent light that is either on or off you have found it. This is easily as bright as a normal incandescent 100W bulb and the coverage areas is about the same as well. It is nice to see the technology catching up. LED lights are a minion times better for the environment and are a fraction of the cost to operate. I highly recommend this product.5Just what I neededThe lights are amazing. Not to yelow to make your home looks old and nasty and not to white to make it look like you are in a factory , Walmart (lol) or at work. These lights temperature adds a modern look to your home without sacrificing the coziness at the same time. The customer support is also top notch. This means you can buy with confidence.I highly recommend this bulbs.5Excellent brightness and colorMost bulbs are only available in 2700K or 5000K variants, so I was excited to see that this one was available in 4000K. Whereas 2700K is too orange and 5000K is too blue, 4000K ended up being perfect for my home. I used these to replace a few 100W-equivalent CFLs around my house, and these were much brighter. Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied.5
