The IST Door Release Mechanism installs in the frame of your door, allowing you to unlock the door remotely through your IST system. The mechanism is compatible with IST intercom/music distribution systems, including the IST Video Door Intercom System and the IST RETRO Music & Intercom System. If you have multiple Door Stations in your system, the mechanism will unlock whichever station you are currently in communication with. NOTES: Requires a power supply. The Elk AC Transformer with Ground (TRG1640) is recommended. In order to unlock your door through an IST I2000 Room or Master Station, the Door Release Mechanism must be connected to the IST Door Release Unit, sold separately.
