Great price, perfect mount for my 32" TVHard to fall in love with a wall mount, but I do appreciate the simplicity and ease of mounting this wall mount. It comes with a level built in to assure you won't be continually annoyed for the next five years with your TV being slightly off balance. The chiropractor's bills for a twisted neck will deplete any savings you achieved had the manufacturer been less thoughtful in this regard. In my apartment it was not possible to find a stud at the distance suggested in the directions, so I just used a different hole in the mount to assure I would have no chance of it coming off the wall. If you are unsure of the depth and quality of your sheetrock (walls) then definitely find studs.5The mount was great. It was priced incredibly low compared to other ...The mount was great. It was priced incredibly low compared to other similar mounts (I think we got it for $23) and functions perfectly. It has plenty of holes so you can fit it to a stud on your wall and get the TV centered just where you want it (as the TV can slide on the mount left and right to center and then lock in place). We hung a 42'' LED TV and it covered the mount behind it.The only knocks I'd give it is that the level on the mount is crap. Do not use it. Use your own level if you want a level TV. And the instructions are pretty poor. It comes with a variety of screws and bolts but never quite tells you if, when and how to use them. It seems like the largest bolts are for mounting into a cement or brick wall. So if you plan on screwing into drywall or studs behind the drywall, I'd plan on using your own screws/drywall mounts. If you go and buy 4 screws for studs that's like $1, so I don't think that's worth voting this down. The actual mount itself is just wonderful for the price.5Works Great! Perfect Fit! Priced Right!My 70" SONY LED HD 3D TV weighs in at just under a hundred lbs. without attached wiring, so I was a bit skeptical about this bracket's durability and especially it's ability to hold the TV securely. My fears were all in vain. It's a very rugged bracket made of more than adequate steel strength to do the job. Installing the bracket itself is a breeze as long as you hit the studs squarely. However, with my TV at almost 100 lbs. you need a second and maybe a third person to hold it in place for attachment to the bracket. All said and done, it works great and not being able to see it behind the TV, it's like being integral with the wall, itself. Yeah, I like it and would recommend it to others who want a wall mount for a larger TV.5Does the job, but has a couple of problemsDoes the job, but has a couple of problems.1) DO NOT trust the built in level, I had this thing held up against the wall and the built in level showed it being level, but it didn't look quite right to me, so I went and got my own level, and sure enough it was badly out of level.2) The locking mechanism is slightly ridiculous, the hole that you have to fit the lock through is so small you'll have to use a luggage lock. Also, the little piece of metal that you're supposed to lock onto the mount doesn't appear to do anything. I thought maybe it was supposed to block the screw from being removed, but it's so loose that you can just move it out of the way and unscrew the stupid thing.Other than those two complaints, it does what it was designed for and looks good.3Needs better hardwareI have used this mount about six times to mount tvs for customers. Pros are the price, simple design, and one piece wall plate design. Cons are the hardware is really poor. The screws for attaching the arms to the tv almost never work with Samsung TVs, which are the most common brand out there. They are either too long or too short, the washers included are paper thin, and the threads are not always machines properly. 25 cents spent on better hardware and this would be a pretty decent budget mount. And never rely on the built in levels on any mount. He one on this mount is a joke its so inaccurate3Smaller than Expected. Plastic Adjusters. Don't use on Extreamly Heavy TVs.I really like that this mount is one solid piece, and the hooks make it easy to hang the TV. However, the adjusters inside the tilt arms that position the TV are plastic.We have two TVs: an older 42 inch Visio, and a newer and much heavier 65 inch Visio (not an ultra thin). We already had a mount for the smaller TV. This mount was much smaller than the mount we already had. The larger mount that we already had also had metal adjusters, no plastic. So we had to swap the two mounts and use this one for the smaller TV.We made it work and are happy with the mount for the smaller TV. It seems to hold the weight of the 42 inch well, and stays put when it is tilted up or down without tightening anything down. The tilt is very slight. I don't think I would want to trust my 65 inch on this thing, it is not an ultra thin or light TV. But the mount is a rather nice mount for the 42 inch, lighter TV. I am happy with it.3Good mountI looked at a lot of wall mounts on Amazon for my new 40" TV and this one appealed the most to me for some reason. It is made of very sturdy metal (rated at 165 lbs. I believe) and after installing it I trust it to hold my TV securely. One tip you may want to consider if you buy this one: The hardware comes with 8 spacers for the screws -- 4 smaller ones and 4 larger ones. I used the 4 smaller ones for my TV and -- even though that's not why they were included -- the 4 larger spacers for the screws that screw into your wall studs. This will let you screw them in tightly using a small wrench instead of having to deal with an electric drill. This wall mount doesn't have the smallest depth of all the mounts you can buy on Amazon, but since my TV has a built-in DVD player in back I wanted a little extra room behind it to insert and remove the discs. Also, since I elected to tilt the TV down there's only about an inch of space at the bottom anyway. BTW, the built-in bubble level worked fine for me (unlike some people who like to complain about anything).5No instructions, too much extra effort.I have several issues with this product.1st, there were no instructions included, with the exception of a postage sized instruction sheet for the lock bracket which was not used.2nd, the lag bolts were too small for the plastic anchors. I'm not sure if the anchors were for drywall or for concrete due to there being no instructions. I had to relocate the TV and attach to the wall studs; I would have liked to have known this before I drilled four large holes in the wall.3rd, none of the numerous bolts would fit the VESA mount holes on the TV which meant I had to make a trip to the store to purchase properly sized bolts.If there had been instructions and properly sized mounting bolts this would have been a quick and easy installation. The mount is a bit flimsy and wobbly, but given the price it will serve its purpose.2not recommended if intent is to prevent thefti purchased this unit as a replacement to the one i wanted (from another seller on amazon) that was currently out of stock. my main reason for purchasing this particular unit was based on the ability to hold the 65" TV and that it offered the ability to lock the mount to prevent theft. while admittedly, yes, it was easy to assemble and install, the metal is very thin and easily bent so much so that the metal was bent while tightening the set screws. needless to say, this would offer a visual deterrent from theft as opposed to a physical deterrent due to its poor construction.1A good product.I like the one piece bracket, instead of others that come in two parts. Supplied hardware covers most applications. It has a built in 2" level, but I recommend using at least a 12" level. The "instructions" that accompany the little bag with thumb screws (have no idea what they're for) may as well be written in Arabic. I passed it around and it got a laugh or two. How do these details get past quality control?4
