Makes typing harder.Got this for my work computer, as if I spill on the keyboard I may be killed. (JK). This makes it hard to type, I make a lot of errors. Luckily, it just lays on top of the keys, so you can just easily remove it (after moving the coffee cup far away) and plop it back on when you don't need to type a lot. From talking to co-workers, this is true of ALL brands of keyboard covers, so it isn't particular to this one. Good to protect, not good to type.3Cute but wears quicklyI bought this because my keyboard letters are wearing away with age and I wanted a cute way to cover it up, and it is! It takes a sec to get used to the new feel of the keyboard with the silicon on top of it, but once you do, I type just as fast and it's cute. The only issue is that after a few months, the letters on this keyboard cover are also wearing off on my most frequently used letters like "e" and "a," so it didn't get a ton of time out of it. Still, it's a great way to spice up my laptop and I don't regret buying it.3Meh.. not my favorite.I am returning this and the print is not as bright at the picture shows. The placement of the buttons was not correct to the set that I picked. I went strictly off the picture and the model. The printed front does not align with the buttons on the back. I personally don't think it is worth it, BUT I did see some love them. It does move around a lot and doesn't sit flush like my Ipearl keyboard covering originally did. So I would say check the other reviews and make your own judgment call.2Nice, but a couple quirksThe cover looks beautiful! There's just a few drawbacks.1. Because of the beautiful print on the silicone, if you're using your computer at night, and don't have ALL the keys memorized, it's impossible to see the key illumination.2. The silicone is nice, but has a little more grip that the regular key surface, so you have to be pretty purposeful about each keystroke, no dragging your fingers. Not a huge issue, but can be a little bothersome when typing quickly.I got this because I loved the design, and I wanted a bit of protection for my keyboard from spills (I have a very curious, water loving toddler). It accomplishes both of those things well.3Gross collects cat hair and dustThis is awful I had another keyboard cover for two years and the color on certain keys was rubbing off and I got this new one, WHAT A MISTAKE! after 1 use the color was rubbing off and it had cat hair stuck all over it, it got so bad I am using the clear one they sent with the colored one and it is filthy covered with cat hair and dust which I can't even imagine where it is coming from. My home is not that dirty. The keyboard cover has a sticky film that collects everything and is so gross. I am going to have to toss them both in the garbage I wish I would have just re-purchased the other one.1Great protection for pet ownersThe keyboard cover fits great and give my laptop a unique look. I am also excited about the protection it will offer my keyboard since I have two pugs and I am always picking there hair out from between the keys. Now I should be able to just blow the hairs right off. The package also included a free clear cover incase I don't want to always have the fun keys but I still want protection. Hint: this clear protector may be stuck to the back of your fancy protector. I at first thought there was a problem with the protector because I didn't know it was doubled up.5They sent me a clear keyboard cover that was stuck to the one I bought! Great buy! 2 for 1!So, I didn't realize there were 2 keyboard covers stuck together and just put the cover on my computer. It felt thick and awkward and slid around the keyboard. I almost was going to write a bad review until I started reading the reviews by others. Thank goodness I read a review that you have to peel a plastic cover from the one you bought and you end up with 2 keyboard covers!!! COOL!5No instructions! You have to figure it out and try and peal off the back of the silicone protector.Bought this for my MacBook Air 13" very recently. Unfortunately there was no instructions and I placed it on keyboard and the result was it didn't quite fit or seal tight and moved around. Also I couldn't really close the laptop completely. It looked like the edges were were a little too large and also looked like maybe I could peel near the edge but nothing would budge. I had to order from a different vender and after receiving and that one fitting perfectly, I got out the other one to throw away (wasn't worth returning). I tried another little spot and low and behold, the back silicone peeled away from the front keyboard! I haven't tried the fit yet but I think it will be ok. Why didn't they sent instructions that you have to peel it apart?2Instructions would be nice, confusing description needs editing.Once I figured out that there was a backing that needed peeled away, it fit (THANK YOU to other reviewers!) Instructions would have been nice. I like the look but it will take a bit for me to get used to typing on it, it does feel different. It will annoy the heck out of my software engineer husband so maybe he won't be constantly using my laptop :) Only one other issue... this paragraph in the description of the product doesn't make any sense at all. I *think* it says there are two pieces but I cannot tell. Maybe they mean there is a peel away backing? But only one actual product shipped (the cover and the peel away backing). Twice. This is more a miracle than testament to Apple I think, because the second time it was the smallest droplet that got in it. The computer actually shut down after each episode. The second time I paid $150 to have it professionally aired out. I so wish I had bought this cover from day one. It is great for preventing dust and lint from getting in too!! I get compliments on the picture and it doesn't interfere with typing. There is no adhesion feature, it just rests on top of the keys, but the silicone makes it tacky enough that it stays in place.5
