Works PerfectlyI recently relocated to Missouri from Georgia and was finally able to pull my Panasonic Viera TV out of its packing after being stored for nearly 4 years. After connecting the set I realized I was missing the remote. And because I had added cable I was faced with the issue of not synching the cable to the TV, leaving me unable to turn both cable and TV off simultaneously. Knowing my TV wasn't the latest model-having been in a box for over 4 years- I was skeptical a universal remote would work. At $13 this remote seemed too good to be true. And we all know how that clich ends. But when I received this remote and slipped in the required two AAA batteries, the remote worked on the first test. And entering the cable code into the cable remote, the TV was immediately synched. During that process I inadvertently changed the aspect ratio on the TV picture, but again my new universal remote fixed the problem quickly. The remote comes with a two page guide on using the various buttons. But I'm happy to say the remote itself is largely intuitive with clear lettering for each critical button. I am more than pleased with this purchase and highly recommend any Panasonic TV users give this a try if you've lost your remote.5Great replacement remoteThe power button is a bit fussy (you have to have a certain angle with the TV and push the button just right), but the functionality is pretty good. Not quite the same as our original remote, but it does the basics.Our TV is a Panasonic Viera Manufacturing ID No. TC-L42E50. The number on the back of our original remote control is N2QAYB000705.5It Works! But is Very Light (fragile?)This is the remote for Panaonsic TVs that have an internet function with apps.
