Actual 3-way led bulbs!If you are here, then presumably you know you need 3-way bulbs for, probably, a lamp of some sort. But just in case, if you have a lamp that has 3 different brightness settings that are adjusted by turning a knob or maybe a pull string, these are likely the bulbs you need. A few scenarios that can help you be sure these are what you need:1. When your lamp is off does the first turn of the knob or pull of the string not actually turn it on? Then it comes on after the second attempt, but the 3rd turn, which you would expect to turn it off, doesn't turn it off? It just stays on at the same brightness? Then a 4th turn/pull finally turns it off? You probably have a 3-way lamp and it needs these bulbs.2. You got dimmer bulbs but it behaves the same way as in scenario 1? You need these bulbs. Unlike a dimmer bulb which adjusts brightness based on voltage regulation, a 3-way socket physically changes the shape to contact different parts of the bulb to result in the varying light intensity.3. You have a lamp that would come on dim on the first twist/pull, a little brighter after the second, and brightest after the third. Then a fourth twist/pull would turn it off and the bulb burned out? You need 3-way bulbs.Also, PSA using dimmable or regular bulbs in a 3-way socket increases the fire risk.Anyway, my experience with these bulbs has been great. I needed 3-way bulbs and wanted LED bulbs (I figured they had to exist). So I went to check my local orange hardware store, then the blue one, and finally the blue and yellow big box store. While some had 3-way bulbs only one had LED 3-ways for a small fortune that was more than I paid for the lamps per bulb (and I needed 3 of them minimum). So standing there I pulled out my phone got on Amazon and foung these.I was super happy and ordered them via "But Now" right there. Unfortunately Amazon lost the package in their warehouse based on the tracking history, but a free replacement was shipped after the mandated Amazon wait period. Bottom line they work. The only super minor negatives I can say is there is a fraction of a second delay between turning it on on (to the dimmest setting) and it actually illuminating. Literally maybe 1/10th of a second. I attribute this to my antique lamp more than the bulbs because this doesn't happen in my other 2 newer lamps. The other detractor is that these are your typical white plastic LED bulbs so if you have a clearer shade or can see the bulb through the shade these may not be the most aesthetically pleasing option. I don't know if a clear glass/plastic version has been made yet,but there should be one day.Tl;dr if you need 3 way bulbs these are the best value around and you should get them.5Very disappointing. I have two touch on 3-way lamps. As you can see from the video, these bulbs will not work. The bulbs were to replace the existing lower powered LED bulbs that are in the lamps. I just wanted more light output. The lamps are rated up to 100 watts of incandescent light. The current LED bulbs are 60 watt. I tested all 4 bulbs in both lamps. All 4 behaved the same way. Will be returning.1Light Blubs can be very Confusing Choices! My Bad!Ordered two sets of four packs. The bulbs I ordered were for 3way lamps. Unfortunately I only have one 3way lamp!! Got the 1st shipment yesterday. Tried in all lamps and discovered one lamp out of 6 is a three way option! These when used on other lamps is So Bright you feel like your on a major nighttime construction sight. BLINDING!! But they are very well made LED with some heft. Works perfect in my one lamp! Hence I had to cancel 2nd order. I will look to see if same company has softer lit led bulbs. Thank You5Works as expected, Low to high and the price is rightThe last three-way LED light bulb I purchased from a major hardware store started at the brightest setting and went to the lowest. Just different. These start at the lowest and go to the highest. Time will tell, but right now I'm quite happy with them.5Better Than Old IncandescentsSeem brighter than the incandescent they replaced. Obviously a huge energy savings. A brief overshoot when stepping up through the lighting levels. Works great!53 Way LED light bulbsI have several 3 Way lamps & have been looking for LED 3 Way bulbs. Brightness is great at all 3 levels, since I just rec'd them 6/2019 longevity is unknown at this point. Thank you.5Update review for 500/1000/1500 3-way bulbs from EagleI installed these the end of January 2020. As of the end of February, two of the 3-way bulbs have already lost the lowest setting. Also, they do not always instantly go into the next setting; there is a delay, but it is not unacceptable by any means. I don't mind the bulbs, but I must say at this point I do not find them any better than the 3-way incandescent bulbs I had been using. They, too, would lose a setting fairly fast. I wanted to love these, but so far I am rather underwhelmed considering all the "hype" out there about the LED bulbs. However, having said that about the 3-way, I do believe I am getting longer use out of "some" of the LED bulbs (single power) I have used in the house. Unfortunately, I have not keep track of the name brands of those that failed. Name brands and lumens are not clearly printed on many LED bulbs. To Great Eagle's credit, their bulbs are clearly stamped with name and lumens (although could be darker and easier to read).3Matches soft white bulb in every wayWe use the bulbs for bedroom lighting replacing standard bulbs. The light levels closely match incandescent bulbs and provide a soft light. They are working well after one week. Looking forward to the promise of a long life.5Great soft light. Seems to be solid construction.Needed some 3-way LED light bulbs for table lamps in my bedrooms, energy efficient, with solid construction. At a good price.These Great Eagle fit the bill. Soft, warm light. If they last as long as they are rated, I'll be a repeat customer.5Long term solution ...We have been slowly transitioning to LED light bulbs ... it s been a trial and error journey, as many of you may have experienced. Mainly it has to do with trying to get ones with light output most closely resembling the warm white produced by incandescents and of course, there is price to consider.Incandescent 3-ways are inexpensive enough but they burn out way to often in addition to the obvious added energy cost ... this bulb at this price solves the dilemma!
