Great buy!I thought I was taking a risk buying this, that it might be cheap and fall apart with hardly anything even in it, or that it might not be large enough for my needs, but I was pleasently surprised to find it to be excellent quality and plenty large enough! It holds a folder, two folder sized workbooks, a regular sized scripture quad, a small notebook, and several pens, and other odds and ends I might need to teach a Sunday school lesson to toddlers, all without looking bulgey or overstuffed! It gets compliments every time I use it. There was a slight orangey smell at first, but this was not unpleasent and has since faded.5It's a Messenger Purse!When this bag arrived, I loved it!. I knew it would not be large because I checked the DIMENSIONS. Just to clear a few things up, some of the Ecosusi Vintage Leather Messenger bags have different styled bows, the ones with different bows and colors have different dimensions, so pay close attention to that. The color I chose was "coffee", which has two tones of brown, and I love it. Its stylish and has a nice gloss to it, which makes it look very classy. It is also very sturdy and has a flat bottom that allows the purse to stand up without falling. Lastly, this is a "messenger purse" and not really meant for laptops or large notebooks, but you can definitely fit a tablet or small notepad! It is the perfect size for me to carry my daily essentials: wallet, small makeup bag, cell phone (it has a special slot a cell phone : )), pack of tissue, chapsticks, travel lotion, wet wipes, small mirror, business cards, USB drive, pack of gum and a bottle of water : ) I have no complaints! Its not too big or too small. I will be using this bag on a daily basis for work and other tasks. I tend to like really big bags, but the bigger the bag, the more junk I usually store in it : / So it is the perfect size for me. It has a nice size length, but its not too wide-------and that's what I love about it! Its the perfect cross body bag!! : )5Sturdy and attractiveAfter three months of heavy use, this bag is still in perfect condition -- and I'm very hard on my bags. It looks just like the picture, and is surprisingly sturdy for the price. I've gotten a ton of compliments on it! Just make sure to check the dimensions before ordering, as it's a little small for a messenger bag -- somewhere between a purse and a netbook bag.Edit: May 2015 - four months later, and it's still in perfect condition, despite me beating the crap out of it on a daily basis. Dang.Edit 2: November 2015 - a part of the clip on the long strap broke off, so it can no longer be worn cross-body or over-the-shoulder. The rest of the bag is still in perfectly good condition.5Very nice purse, excellent exterior.Very good qualify, strong straps, and nice arrangement of compartments. My only complaint, which is the same complaint I give regarding all purses, is that they made the inside out of tissue paper. I have never understood why manufacturers spend so much time making the outside so durable when the inside rips and unravels within a few months. I am extremely careful about not putting pointy things in my purse. Any pens, nail files, etc. always go in a plastic, round-edged pencil case and I only put a really soft brush inside. Yet within a few months there will be tears. A few months after that it will be unusable. I have tons of purse shells, all perfect on the outside, with shredded insides. The inside of the purse needs to be just as durable as the outside. It should be make of heavy-duty canvas or denim or some other strong material. It should not be paper-thin silk-like material.I also have a little buyers remorse regarding the color. Entirely my fault of course! I had the red one in my wishlist forever but, last second, was concerned it was too bright so I bought the brown one. Really wish I stuck with the red as the brown is not quite as nice looking. So word of advice to buyers...stick with your initial gut instinct and don't second guess your color choice. ;)4It's difficult to make me happy.Yes I'm one of those brats who rarely gets impressed by items but WOW. I read all reviews on this before I bought it and so many people complained about the smell but this is so neatly and tightly packaged it's going to have a new smell (extremely mild/typical bag smell). Just like when you purchase a car, and with my experience it'll just go away once used. The photo I posted is unfortunately bad quality but as you can see nothing is wrong with it. I'm definitely going to be buying more of these in different colors. It has a zipper which I didn't know so nothing will fall out, and it's easy to open. Thank you so much for selling these beautiful bags, you won't see the last of me!5Briefcase Look with a bow for the Feminine Touch and Stud/Buckle Detailing!This is the perfect handbag for a working woman or a student because it is like a briefcase but it has that bow for a feminine touch. In the picture it translates as brown/black, but it states brown/coffee which is true. The findings are brass colored even though the appeared silver to me which I preferred, but I love it anyway. I am very much a handbag girl. I like to carry my things with me and have them. handy, BUT I want to be stylish as well without breaking the bank. I like to get many different looking handbags in colors and styles and rotate them for different looks. I have received so many compliments on this handbag from MEN too which is completely unheard of and you could knock me over with a feather! Even when I was walking down the street! Typically I prefer a Hobo- style bag a top-loader. This handbag works great for a lot of items but you must fit it together like puzzle, there not much give. Eco-friendly, made from recycled materials as their name implies, made of a plastic but looks like leather. Awesome crossbody wearing handbag to balance weight. If anybody wants smaller handbags, just read the measurements they do post them on the sites, This company has them in all kinds of similar styles and colors. I have another handbag in green/brown that is AWESOME too!5Good-looking, well made bag that's non-leatherThis is a terrific bag for the price. It seems to be very well constructed and looks great. I've already received several compliments on it and "Where did you get that bag?" The colors are accurate to the photos. The bag is roomy without being too large. The crossbody strap is adjustable and looks very sturdy. There's also a small handle on the top of the bag that looks strong too. The flap top fastens to the bag with 2 magnetic buttons underneath the buckle straps (buckle straps are just for show and don't actually unfasten). Underneath the flap top the purse closes shut with a plastic zipper & metal pull. Also underneath the flap top is one large pocket on the front of the bag that doesn't close (it has an open top). On the back of the bag is one horizontal zippered pocket. Inside the bag is one small horizontal zippered pocket on one side and two vertical pouches with open tops; either could hold a phone easily. The inside of the purse is lined with what looks like a very strong, soft fabric lining in a dark brown color. The bag itself is made of a glossy faux leather (not a soft but rather stiff material that I like) that could easily pass for the real thing. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. I searched for a long time here on Amazon to find a bag like this and it was well worth the effort.5Five StarsI love love this bag. It was everything and more. It was the exact size as advertised. The beautiful leather with the glossy finish gives it a classic vintage look. I can fit everything I need in it. She has gotten so many compliments!5DisappointedI was so excited to find this bag. I thought it was super cute and just what I was looking for in a purse. The bag I received was just as described and beautiful. It arrived on time and there was no smell that other reviews mentioned. I was a little concerned by how stiff the pleather was, but I loved the way it looked so I happily started using it. I have had it for 2 months and it is ragged looking and generally falling apart. The bow started cracking within a couple weeks and I just noticed that the piping is coming off the edges on the bottom and one of the bottom seems has started to come apart so now it has a hole starting to develop on the seem. I have had bags from Walmart that lasted longer. I would not recommend this bag because the quality is exceptionally poor.1
