Perfect for reading in low light environments.I bought this to read while my family played video games in the living room. They needed the light off, and I wanted to read physical books. This is perfect!!! It is super lightweight. I put it on some back pages of my paperback and it worked very well. It was bright enough even on the lower setting. It was packaged well from Amazon in a cardboard box (not in the envelope in the picture.) I like the swivel feature, but I like how it attaches to the book the most. (See pic.) I love the way it charges!!! You plug the actual light fixture into the USB port (not provided,) and the part that attaches to the book is set aside. Overall, if the cat got hungry and ate this one, I would not hesitate to get a replacement. :)5Doesn t recharge:(Worked great until you have to recharge the light. I bought 4 of them and 3 of them stopped working once I tried to charge it. The last one has yet to need a charge, I m guessing it won t charge like the others.If you are ok with seeing this as a non rechargeable light that will work for a few weeks then buy it. But if you want it to recharge as it advertises then maybe choose something else.1Great Book Light!This is a terrific book light! It adjusts for perfect page illumination, has a choice of two brightness levels, charges via USB - no more batteries in the trash, attaches to the book with a slim bookmark style holder, and folds flat when not in use. What more could you want? The only reason I took off a star is because it clicks loudly when adjusting the light's direction, and it also feels a wee bit flimsy - I hope it holds up well. The light is not strong enough - even pocket-size book is not lit well..4Works well for reading comic booksI bought this light because it was the lightest (weight wise) that I found and it had good reviews. I needed something not too heavy because it is for reading comic books. I wouldn t clip it to the actual pages since comic book pages are very thin. But it works fine clipped to the cover of graphic novels and I just put a single issue inside of those to read. I was concerned that the light might be too bright and reflect off of the shiny pages. That ended up not being a problem. The only reason I didn t give it a full five stars is because the two brightness settings really aren t that noticeably different. They both just seem bright. But the product works well and I would buy it again. Also, the easy USB charging feature is perfect.4Good value.I bought this because of power outages. I love to read- but reading in candle light isn t the best. It occurred to me after I opened the product- if it dies, and the electricity is out, how the heck will I charge it? I guess a battery operated one might be more practical for what I need.It comes completely flat- you have to sort of snap it to open it. You ll worry you re going to break it...I don t think you will. I didn t. The way it opens is a little weird, and fastening it to my book seemed...awkward. BUT, it works (it even came fully charged!), it s super light weight, which is a big plus when you re holding a book that it s attached to.The included directions are worth the purchase. Some of the sentences were bizarre, and I got a kick out of the idea that I should keep the book light away from anything flammable...Uh...books are PAPER.Hahaha. Anyway, even though I haven t tried to recharge it yet (so I m hoping that process works), I like it so far. Not bad for the price at all.4I really love that it's rechargeable and that it's rigidI really love that it's rechargeable and that it's rigid, I was seeing a lot of bendable rechargeable book lights and they just seem like over time it would wear out. The only complaint I would have about this is how bright it is, I like to read before bed so it's dark and use pretty dim lights if possible. There are two settings to the brightness, it'd be nice to have one more.4For the price and convenience of being battery free this is a fine product.This is a wonderful little book light. Love that it can be charged by USB and does not require any batteries. The 2 brightness options are nice to have since I feel it provides more than enough light on the dim setting. The little light is adjustable and can be tilted up/down or pivoted to shine light to either side.Great customer service when I reached out with questions regarding the product. The only thing I have noticed and I'm not sure if it is because my child is reading a lot of books from the library. He is clipping and un-clipping the light onto all different types of books (hardcover and paperback) and this seems to have loosened the clip a bit (I included a photo for reference). It still holds well when still and not moving around, but holding as a bookmark it seems to be slipping around a bit. Time will tell if the other does it as well.For the price and convenience of being battery free this is a fine product.5Breaks fastWorked great for about a month then just broke out of nowhere. I had only used it 2x. I tried charging it overnight but still won t turn on. Disappointed. I Thought I would of had this light for at least a year or 2. I like how the light tilts side to side so I can light up both pages. The charge lasts really long! I've had it a few weeks and even with daily reading for many hours and I've only charged it once.
