    Great size but needs longer cablesI wanted a smaller power supply to get more air to my single fan video card. This product is perfectly sized for a small case. It created another inch and half clearance for the video card. The card stays cooler when playing Overwatch and HOTS. The only complaint I have is that the wires are maybe an inch to short. They fit but another inch on all the cables would have been perfect. I would press the power button and my LEDs would flash and click twice and it would shut down within a second. Confirmed the failure with a local repair center, and confirmed it was not due to heavy load (my build only required 300-350 watts).6/19 The RMA process via the Corsair website was fairly straightforward albeit frustratingly slow, but I now have a new PSU. Fingers crossed that this one lasts longer than the first. To be fair, I give the WORKING PSU 5 stars, I love it, it is quiet, and fits perfectly in my custom build, but I docked a star because of the inconvenience of having to get a replacement so soon after my initial purchase.4Best SFX PSU out right now. Good for a high end system.Used this in my Fractal Design Node 304. So far so good. 600 watts in a tiny packages is great for freeing up room in there. Comes with a 92 mm fan that supports zero rpm mode when not under heavy load. Most other sfx power supplies use a 80 mm fans that are much louder. This thing is very quiet. The cables are nice and short. Aesthetically it has the classic corsair PSU look, which I prefer over the other SFX PSUs.The cables are far too stiff for my tastes though. Makes them hard to manage. For some reason it doesn't come with a dual 6+2 pin pcie connector. Most high end GPUs would need more than a single 8 pin. So, you'll have to use two physical cables instead of the one.You'll need to buy an SFX to ATX adapter if you want to use it in many cases since this doesn't come with one for some reason. All of silverstone's sfx PSUs come with an adapter. Luckily Silverstone sells their adapter here on amazon and it's far better than corsair's adapter you can buy directly from their. Corsair's adapter has your PSU floating in mid air. Silverstone's mounts it so it's flush with the bottom of where your ATX sized PSU would be.4This is the best small form factor power supply you can buy period So if you are a small form factor PC builder like myself the new Corsair SF750 is basically the best thing since slice bread. This is not a SFX-L sized which is normally 125mm x 130mm or a smaller ATX EVGA G3 which is 150mm x 150mm but it's 125mm x 100mm making it one tiny PSU while packing 750 watts rated at 80+ Platinum. The PSU uses a 92mm fan similar to the one on the SF450 and SF600 and it doesn't spin up until the unit hits 300 watts making it one quiet unit. Even when the unit goes above 300 watts it is still much quieter compared to a Silverstone 800W SFX-L and worlds better than an ATX EVGA G3 unit. The PSU is fully modular but at $180 you kind of expect this but an added bonus is the shortened individually braided cables you get compared to stock cables you get with competitors which tend to be too long and are really hard to cable manage. You also get a SFX to ATX bracket so in theory you could use this with a non SFF system but you would most likely need to buy longer cables or cable extenders since the ones provided are no longer than 12". Since the unit has two EPS/ATX12V slots you can power an HEDT motherboard like the Asrock X399M without any problem. I have a X399M Threadripper 2950X and an EVGA GTX 2080 Ti XC Ultra with six case fans and have zero issues even with the CPU in PBO mode and the GPU overclocked. Overall not everyone will need 750 watts but for people who want the smallest most powerful PSU this is hands down the one to get especially for SFF building 5It fits!I have stuffed this power supply into over 50 builds, over the last two years.NONE of the 50 have caused us a single issue. That is nice, since we warranty our work.Normally the PS is the main failure worry I have, but now it's fans (since we don't use spinning drives anymore) - I fully blame Corsair for that (we only use their supplies (10 years now)).It's quite.It fits.It has plenty of power for modern gaming PCs.It's reliable for workstations.It's affordable (in the business world, teens looking for a gaming PC - might have a different opinion).It comes in a flashy box with a velvet bag that everyone I know has now (and likes).They handle crappy ac power well. That alone has saved us thousands in onsite component repair.I almost RMA-ed one once (realized a board fault and canceled the RMA) - Corsair was "business friendly" in manor and willing to help - they issued the RMA without a fight.The only con I have, is that it's better to buy them retail than through a distributor, pricing is near the same and shipping, warranty service is better on the retail side. If you buy 100s at time that may be different - but we buy them 5 - 10 at a time. Okay another con - I have a ton of velvet bags now and no other swag - at some point they should send me a invite to a company party or at least a t-shirt ;)5Completely silent at low to medium loadThis PSU is quieter than the Silverstone SFX-L ("long") PSUs which fit a 120mm fan. How? The fan in this PSU is *off* at ordinary loads. I'm not sure yet what would even cause the fan to come on: I've run for 10 minutes with a 980ti and i5-6600K both maxed out and the fan didn't turn on. I might have to wait until summer.Since it's standard SFX size you've got more room to maneuver in the cases which support SFX-L. The modular cables are not super soft, but they are flexible enough to route without having them fight with you. My only objection to the cables is that the clips don't seem to latch as positively as others. This PSU has two separate 6+2 pin PCIe power cables which both run all the way back to the PSU. The Silverstone I replaced had one heavier cable with dual 6+2 pin headers on one end which was a little nicer to deal with.In a Silverstone Raven, the internal power routing for the input power can't quite reach the connection on this PSU without unhooking it from its internal clips so it can cut the corner in the case. The PSU's connection is at the far end relative to the cable routing, and the connector is upside-down compared to what the case was designed for, requiring an extra loop.This PSU did not come with an ATX adapter plate, so you can't put it in a larger PC case.Overall I'm very happy that this PSU is available now: The Silverstone SX500-LG I replaced made horrible chirpy sounds at low loads because it tried to drive the fan a little too slowly. The SFX-L (larger, square, fits 120mm fan) was also much harder to work with.5Received faulty SF600 plat twice!So, I ordered this item a week ago, and replaced my original PSU with this one. Immediately after booting up my pc, I realized something was immediately wrong. After trying to perform any sort of task, there was ~20% chance of the PC just restarting without any sort of warning. Online forums showed that this was 90% chance of a PSU issue. Returned and ordered another one, thinking I was just unlucky. But this one was even WORSE! This time it didn't even let me login before promptly restarting (yes I'm using the correct cables). I'm thinking there was a CPU/GPU issue, but I just replaced this PSU with my old one, and my PC worked perfectly. I know corsair is a reputable company, but I think I'm going to stray away from their power supplies.1Perfect fit for any sized case!Power supplies really haven't changed much in the last 10 years, but finally, this is a real game changer.Pros: - Completely silent, even under load - Fully modular-ness makes install/reinstall/removal a breeze - Fantastic for mini cases - Ultra short cablesCons: - Cables should be all loose, instead of ribbonized for maximum flexibility - SATA power should have both 90 and 180 options, instead of just 90 - Should have come with SFX to ATX adapterIn the month I've used it so far, it's been nothing short of amazing.This, paired with the SG13 was the best machine I've ever built.Opted to get the Silverstone PP08 adapter for extra ventilation.5Great small form factor (SFX) psu! Would highly recommend it for anyone doing a miniITX build!I love how small this thing is, it makes working in my miniITX build fantastic. I'm using this in a CoolerMaster Elite 130 which supports full size ATX power supplies, but I want to use a smaller PSU to gain CPU cooler clearance and cable management less claustrophobic. To use this in place of an ATX power supply I had to purchase a SilverStone Technology Universal ATX to SFX Power Supply Bracket RL-PP08B. It would be great if this PSU came with such a bracket already, I believe Silverstone includes it with their SFX PSUs and that would have been a nice touch. The modular cables that came with the PSU are very rigid and hard to work with in a small case, I ended up replacing them with a sleeved set from modDIY.com. The red & black sleeved cables were shorter and much more flexible, it included a 20cm 20+4pin ATX cable, 24cm 4+4pin CPU/EPS cable and 24cm Dual 6+2 pin PCI-e modular cable. The new cables really made a huge difference inside the case. The only original cable I am using is the SATA Power cables to power my SSD, HDD and ODD. Due to the placement of the drives inside the case I also had to use a short extension to reach all the drives with one cable.PROs- Small- Modular- 80+ Gold rating- QuietCONs- Does not include SFX to ATX bracket- Very long and rigid modular cablesCorsair has a real opportunity here to improve this product by including an SFX to ATX bracket and changing their cables out for more flexible sleeved cables. This PSU is designed for small form factor cases which are notoriously difficult to route cables in, more flexible cabling would greatly help this issue.4The power supply itself is excellent but the cables need work.The power supply itself is excellent. It is small, powerful, and quiet. It seems to be well built. My only reservation with rating this thing five stars is because of the cables that come with it. They're junk, in my opinion. First off, they're super short, which is fine if you use a really compact ITX case, but in some of the newer ITX cases that support water cooling they're just way too short. Second, they are really stiff and hard to work with and train. I ended up having to order custom individually braided cables because Corsair didn't have anything else available on their website for this unit, yet they have higher quality cables for other PSU's. Give it some time I'm sure, but if you're going to use this thing in a "larger" ITX case, be prepared to shell out some cash for new cables.Note: The included image is of my Fractal Nano S build with custom cables (not using included cables). I wanted an SFX power supply to gain some clearance around the graphics card.4Very nice. Highly recommend.I can't believe how small this thing is (and how quiet!). I love the modular cables!
