Works Well For The MoneyThese replacement tapes seem to work as well as the Brother tapes. I have used one full cartridge and it didn t jam or cause any other problems. I am a real customer, and I am very satisfied - I highly recommend5Most of the labeling tapes had great adhesion, easy to apply and easy to remove.The first 3 tapes of my first order was amazing. Good quality printing, easy to apply and easy to remove and adjust the position. Then the 4th tape started jamming after making about 10 inches of labels. I threw it away as I thought for the price, it wasn't a huge loss. Then the 5th tape jammed in my Brother P Touch when I started making my first label with that cartridge. That was when I called Amazon and the representative was so professional and accommodating and immediately arranged to send out a new batch without any charge. So far each cartridge has been working without any problems. So because of the great customer service, I gave this product 4 stars. It would have received 5 stars had I not had issues with the last 2 cartridges of the first order. I plan to reorder when I need more.4Almost PerfectI was given one of the Brother P-Touch labellers by someone who had no use for it, so when I finished off the factory included cartridge, it was time to buy some replacement carts. I bought one factory cart just in case, and a 5-pack of these ColorTy's. I've not used the factory cart, but compare with the factory cart that came with the labeller.Short form, these are almost indistinguishable from the Brother tapes. The only difference I could find is in the backing strip. As background, these tapes are sticky, but to go through the labeller, they need a paper backing strip you peel off to expose the sticky. For 1/2" tapes, the backing strip is cut once lengthwise down the center, giving you two 1/4" wide bits of backing to peel off. The cut up the middle of the ColorTy's was just a weeeee bit shallower than the factory tapes (maybe one or two thousandth's of an inch shallower), so it was a little difficult to get the backing to start coming off, the first time. Once I realized what was going on, simply bending the printed label a bit more aggressively, or lifting a corner of the backing with a sharp object solved the just-barely-a-problem.So summary, I'd give these 4.99 out of 5 if I could; totally functional, you wouldn't know the difference looking at the label when stuck to something. a weeeee bit less convenient to use, nothing much really, once you realize.A solid two thumbs up from me.5Poor adhesion but good crisp printHave purchased other tape products from Amazon before and have been 100% satisfied. These do not meet standards. Poor adhesion. Same application as for other tape but after just a little while tape is beginning to peal away at the edges. The labels are as durable as the brand name ones in my opinion and I didn't have any issues with them.5- Revising reviewUnfortunately, the very first one I opened to use was defective. The 3 parts (white tape, black ink portion and clear adhesive) would not separate so when you tried to print, it would print on the black ink portion. This order comes in a set of 6, so the second tape I opened was okay. Had to toss the first one. Hopefully the others work okay and are not defective.I should have updated this message earlier with a more positive review. The seller sent me replacement tapes due to the defective one. I believe in companies that back up their products and appreciate them for reaching out to me with the new tapes.5Very easy to use if you get the right cartridge for your machine.I organize everything in clear containers and label them with a Brother P-touch Printer. I am 84 years old and this printer is very, very easy to use. I am not sure as yet if this particular cartridge will fit my machine. I have ordered them before but I can see a small difference in this cartridge that I just received that is why I give it four stars. However, I love this label process. They stay on very well and you can see them very well!4
