Customer Reviews

They are flimsy...Outer cover is thin and does not offer any protection. I got what I paid for Cheap price for cheap cable. Good thing is my current set-up is temp so I will purchace the better quality for my next set-up3Good standard cable, nice cables come in different lengths & colors for easy cable mgmtPros:- available in various lengths, i purchased 2-1foot, 3feet & 12feet to accommodate my home network setup- different colors for easier management- quality seems fine- standard UTP Cat5e cable, plastic cable jacket, for non-IT familiar person, the clamp may seem a bit short but this is standard- price is reasonable, cheaper than Walmart and most store fronts, similar prices can only be found in Goodwill (2nd hand store) which are usually unreliable, dirtier or worn-out.- 1foot cable is great for connecting modem to router/switche at home- 3feet cable is great for connecting nearby gadgetsCons:- none5The right length for what I needed. Nice quality and just long enough. No problems. Delivered quickly. 5Problem solvedHow much can one say about a cable? Well, some cables are noticeably cheap and nasty and some are obviously designed for use with super computers. This one falls into the middle ground that fits almost every home user. In a nutshell, if you have a computer in a different room to your modem or router then this cable does the job nicely. The toughest thing is the DIY job you have to do to get it under floors and/or through walls. The snagless protectors do what they are supposed to do so if you need to move the cable then the release catch cannot "grab" hold of other cables. Particularly one of the million strands of spaghetti that hang down behind our computer desks. We've all been there trying to unhook the cable we are trying to pull out from under the desk which usually ends up with us banging our heads on the keyboard tray. So, nice price for 50' of cable that works perfectly and it easy to use if you're moving it at all. Job done, .. oh, except for drilling those holes and crawling through the crawl space.5Excellent cable in useful lengthThe C2G cables I've had over the years have been well made and effective anti-snag boots molded on the ends. One thing Like about the design of the anti-snag is the plastic flap can be pushed to the side so the cable can be released easily when there is little clearance as on the back of some of my servers. The cables hold up well to re-running and in the demanding use of being providing guest computer connections - where they are getting plugged in and removed over and over and over. The 75ft length of the cable I purchased is a little unusual but very useful when you have one of those in-between length runs.Because this cable is very good and consistent with past experience I'm rating this as a 5 star cable and is at the front of the patch cable pack.5Just the right lengthSince so many use wireless modems now, cat 5 cables are something you might only occasionally need, such as when you are setting up a router. And it seems like overkill when you pull out an old 20 foot cable to connect to a router that's sitting just across from you on a desktop. And yet a three foot cable might be too short -- not allowing you to keep the laptop in your lap while you set things up.That's where this five foot length cable comes in handy. It's not too long, not too short, and it can be coiled up and tucked away nicely in a drawer after you've finished setting up the router and wireless modem. It's good quality too, nicely made. Overall it's a good little cable to have on hand.5Was exactly what I neededWhen I got to the last step of installing the wiring needed to get my PC connected to a home network, I ended up needing a five-foot Cat5 cable to go from a wireless repeater to a wall outlet. The repeater was white, the wall outlet was white, and the wall itself white... so imagine how happy I was to find a white, five-foot Cat5 cable! Not only does it perform well, but it makes my installation look more professional, too.A note about C2G cables... in this particular installation, I also used two 50' C2G Cat5 cables. In my attempt to hide one of the cables, I bent it around some hard corners as well as jammed it in between the carpeting and the moulding. I thought for sure I would have damaged the cable in the process, but the cable held up to my rough installation.5200 Ft Monster CableAt first I was a bit worried that the length of 200 ft would be to much for cable box (Xfinity) to push out to my router, but when I did my first speed test and rocked at 128 MBs, it was an utter relief, now I can run full speed throughout my house (have incredible deadzones, thick floors). I would definitely recommend this company! The only downside to this is at 200ft the only color you can get is blue, I wished they had black5Its a cable and its been working!Well, its simply a cable...not much really to say about it, other than it works and its size met my needs - having different colors helps, that was the major reason behind this purchase - various cables to same location (or even different locations I presume), all have different colors making identifying them easier when necessary (couple times now, removing cables, checking link lights, etc.). No problems since purchase though!5Great for hard wiring houseI have a room in my house with no internet connection and no cable connection. With all the wireless cable boxes and tech that is out, most people would just be fine with wireless. I want a much faster connection between machines, so I figured I'd run some wire through the attic and into that room. The run is about 55 feet. Instead of buying a kit for more money, I figured just buy this, and cut the ends off and splice in with keystones.I ran the cable without much issue, and cut it all to length. Once I spliced into keystones, tested connection with my Pyle network cable tester, and everything checked out.I plugged my network drive into it, and everything worked fine.Pros:1. Cost2. Nearly undetectable loss of packets over a 75ft run3. Quality cable (no issues splicing into keystone)4. Nice to have network ports in the house, not relying on wifiCons:None5Cat5E 50 foot cableThis 50ft CAT5e cable works fine in my home theater setup (Viera Cast streaming). It's flexible enough to wind around various corners of living room. Seems well made. Price was right, shipped quickly with Amazon Prime. It's not Cat6 but who cares. Most people aren't even using the full 100baseT throughput let alone Gigabit. Cat5e should support Gigabit Ethernet anyway. For my purposes this works, I am happy.UPDATE: This cable is still working fine for my living room receiver and blu-ray network connection. NOTE: Just an FYI, the price on this fluctuates at times. I paid $5.52 for the 14foot length cord in January 2012, currently (Nov 24th, 2012) it's $6.645
