    No issue with the packaging Another reviewer had mentioned these arrive rolled up in a plastic bag. Personally I wasn't surprised by this, and I'm not bothered by it either - I didn't expect these to come in a three foot+ box. Perhaps he/she was expecting these to be a bit more rigid, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.These draft stoppers work well for my home. I live in an older home which previously had foundation issues, so large gaps formed between the bottom of the doors and the wood floor. I unrolled these, cut them easily with a scissor, and taped it to the bottom of my doors. They do not need to be straightened prior to use. I found these especially helpful in my bathroom after I took a hot shower. They made the difference between a previously non-foggy mirror to a now somewhat foggy mirror, so they do work. 5Would not recommend for heavily used doors These seemed sturdy and were useful for some time. It was easy to install, just remove the paper and stick in place. The adhesive is great and the product hasn't come loose at all, but the plastic seal itself has already ripped and come away from the mount. After only a few weeks of opening and closing the door, the plastic tore and pretty much came apart. Maybe this is more ideal for doors that aren't used regularly? The seal is also rubbing along carpet underneath, which maybe also creates more wear. Still, I expected it to last longer than just a few weeks. Luckily it wasn't expensive, otherwise that would have been really annoying... 2Be Aware Bottoms arrived bent to fit into a large zip lock bag. I've been trying to straighten them out the last few days by putting weight on them without much success. I tried installing one and its so badly bent It wouldn't stick to the door 1Different than presented BE AWARE This looks absolutly nothing like the picture presented. Picture showed a crystal clear rigid looking strip. As you can see from the picture, that is not the case. The discription of "Clear" is totally off. 1They work These are not spectacular, but they are helpful in stopping the flow of cold air from under the front door and the door from the garage. My doors are painted white, to the white strip that has the sticky stuff to apply them blends right in. And the clear stuff on the bottom is heavy enough to keep from shredding or bending when you open and close the door. Unlike, other, I have not had a problem with these coming unstuck. So, overall I'm pleased with the purchase. 4Very nice product - flexible enough and stiff enough Very nice product - flexible enough and stiff enough. I used it to cover a gap in the door to the basement - that gap is about 1/2" at one end of the (24" wide) door, and about 1-1/2" at the other end of the door. The house is about 100 years old, so this is typical of door gaps in my house. A single strip isn't wide enough to cover that oddly-shaped gap, but I put the first strip on the door parallel to the door's bottom edge, and then attached the second strip to the first at an angle that closed the gap across the whole width of the door. The second strip seems to have attached well to first, a month of at least a couple of open-closes every day sees the strip(s) still firmly attached, and basically stopping the old under-door draft completely. The strip is easy to cut to length, simple scissors do the job. The plastic is both flexible enough to cover the irregularities in the floor-door gap and stiff enough to give a very decent seal.This is really a great fix to a range of situations. Simple, effective, and aesthetically adequate for a reasonably critical distaff sensibility. 5Works well, but not long term solution. These draft stoppers are made of flexible plastic with an adhesive strip. They are easy to cut to size with a pair of scissors and apply easily. They need to be reinforced with staples, tacks, or screws in order to ensure that they stay on during daily use. They stop drafts very well, but are not really made to be a permanent solution. 4Miracle Worker for my old wood front door I'm so glad I found these online. My old wood front door (old apartment) was a huge challenge since it's very uneven along the bottom and those spongy door hugger things just wouldn't let me shut the door, at all. This was SO EASY! Avoided calling the dreaded maintenance dept of the apartment complex, I just did it myself. Just let it out of the package to relax a bit and if you have a standard 36" door, you won't even need to trim. Just line it up where you think you're going to put it and peel off the backing to stick. The glue on this strip is serious glue. I know this would take off the paint (maybe more) if attempted to be removed. I didn't need to prep my door since it was already painted with flat paint before I moved in, I knew it would stick no problem, but if you have something varnished or glossy, you should prep first to adhere the sticky part the best to your door.Best of all, no more smoke smell coming in from under the big gap under my front door. Plus, since these came in a set, I've got a couple of neighbors who had the same problem that I've been able to gift them for the holidays. What we call a win-win!Keep in mind, to keep the gap covered, I can no longer have a door mat directly under the door or it will pull this off, so I've had to keep my doormat in the apartment over to one side so that it doesn't try to pull off my door sweeps. Small price for increased energy efficiency and decreased smells of neighbors burning. I'm a happy customer. I thought about adding some small screws to further hold mine in place, but it doesn't seem to need it. Mine is really glued on well. Sure to get years of use. 5Drafts stoppers that actually work!!!! These strips actually work. Some of the doors in my place were shaved due to carpeting. I took the carpeting out and have hardwood floors, and noticed this huge gap on the bottom of the door. I put these on the bottom of the doors and they really do work on keep out the drafts. Just measure, cut, an put on, it's that simple. 5Easy to use These work really well. It is a pretty straight forward solution to drafty doorways.I measured and cut to fit my doorway with standard kitchen scissors.Test fit and marked the door with a pencil in three spots; left, right, and middle.Removed backing to expose adhesive and started on the left. I used the mark I made and then placed the middle a the mark there, then pressed the left side down. Then I lined up the right side and did the same.I tested the door to ensure that the sweep was going to stay on, but the middle started to come away from the door. I was able to press it back into place and got it to stay. I used a drop or two of super glue for added assurance though.The other door I wanted to use this on had too large of a gap... 5
