    Easy, quick; can't ask for anymore!I did this on a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe.This took me about 4 minutes to complete which included printing out the instructions.I can't tell you how happy I am to finally have a working remote again for so cheap! I thought it would have costed me $100 or more from a dealer to have this done, but nope!The instructions were the most clear things I've ever read. This could easily be done by anyone.Just be sure to follow ALL steps and do it exactly how they tell you to, and I guarantee you'll have a remote for your car soon enough! You guys rock!I'll see how long this last, but the range seems to be quite impressive as is now.Update 1: I didn't really measure, but it seems as though the remote hit from at least 40 feet away. I didn't try to go back further, but this range is great! 52003 Chevy Suburban Remote entry key FOBDon't know why anyone would claim this is made cheap. Same micrometer gauge as Stock. Has Ben dropped , kicked etc. Still works fine. Followed instructions, be patient . And programming works everytime. If used on a Chevrolet Suburban, I have a 2003 program all Key fobs at the same time. The instruction clearly written take you through this. If you have problems, you probably should just buy from the dealer ( you could by 10 of these from this source), as you have no business being a do it yourselfer. 5High quality!As my subject line states, this is a nice and high quality product. First of all, it shipped very quickly and came in nice packaging. The instructions it came with were excellent although make sure you follow "exactly" as I deviated slightly but quickly figured out my issues. (You need to program not only the new keyfob but also the original as well, DOH!) Anyways, the transmitter's range seems to be just fine and it's nice seeing a clean new remote on a well used vehicle. (2004 Tahoe Z71 recently purchased...) I highly recommend purchasing this remote from this buyer! 5Concerned at first, but worked greatI was concerned at first because the fob wasn't programming and my old ones had been unprogrammed. I did the push the buttons 26 times thing and it worked! My locks were cycling and horn honking before I finished turning the key, but I still tried the programming and it worked. So don't give up and not try it if the locks and horn are going before they are supposed to.The first one went so well, I ordered another to replace our other old fob. I was concerned when I opened the package, because the fob wasn't exactly the same and there were no directions to program it. There was a card saying to take it to an automotive locksmith instead of a dealer. WHAT?! So I found my instructions for the first fob I ordered and followed them and it worked!!! So even if you don't get programming directions, your fob might be able to be programmed BY YOU. 5So far so good.I ordered this key fob for my suburban, but the one they sent me did not work. I tried to program it several times, but to no avail. I was so frustrated that I called our local dealership to find out how much it would cost me to have them program it for me. They said $35, and there was no guarantee that it would work. So, I called the company that made this product (I like the fact that they are a USA company), and they asked me if I had tested the battery. I told them I had no idea how to test the battery. I thought it was supposed to work when you got it. They said they would be happy to send another one to me at no charge with return postage for the defective one. So, I received the new one in the mail a few days later, and it worked the first time. I am curious to see if the battery lasts though, because I have seen other reviews where their battery died very quickly. I am impressed by the makers customer service though. 4Programming was super simple! Did 2 remotes in under 2 minI ordered 2 remotes and followed the programming per the website and it worked perfectly!!! I'm so happy!! I priced remotes at the dealer and auto parts store and they were $70 to $80! I paid under $25 for 2 here and they are the same exact remotes that the dealer has. 5It's All In The Programming InstructionsI bought a remote from a different seller and had to return it. It wouldn't program. I just got this today and have not used it yet, so why may you ask, am I submitting a review already? Because I want to help other customers program their remote so it will work and they won't need to return it like I did with my previous purchase. I will update my review if the remote stops working.The reason I was able to program this remote is because the programming instructions included a couple steps that the previous seller left out of their instructions, and that made the difference.This seller provides a website to go to and find step-by-step directions for your particular vehicle, so make sure you use this website when programming. When you are doing the programming, you may want to do a couple practice runs, until you are able to do the steps rather quickly in succession. You need to program your existing remotes at the same time. Once you get the steps down, it is short and quick and you are done. I have other remotes, so I had to program all of them at the same time.As far as the actual remote quality, the buttons are not like my original remotes. My original remotes have softer buttons that press very easy. This remote has buttons that are stiffer and when you press them down you hear the click on the button. Because of this, I was ready to send it back as soon as I opened the bag, but I wanted to see if I could actually program it. I called my dealer and asked how much for a remote and they said $85.00. I paid 14.39 for this, so for that price, I will accept the stiffer buttons. My teenage son, who just got his license, is getting this remote. 5Disapointingjust got the remote checked it with the numbers on my original remote. Perfect match. Tried to program it with my 07 silverado classic lt duramax no luck. Tried different batteries 3 to be exact no luck. I also have a 2006 Tahoe so i thought that i would give it a go tried a couple times no luck. I have looked on line for other instructions and everyone says the same thing as the paper that i recieved with it. And last to make sure that im doing it right tried the factory one. And guess what POW it worked. Soooooo im at a lost for words now execpt i hope i can get my money back. The only plus is that it took about 5 days to get ordered monday got it friday. But excitement for the price GONE. Thanks hope this helps someone 12004 Chevy Tahoe key fog replacementworks great, took me a few minutes to get it programmed because the part where it says can take up to 30 seconds (it really can because I was thinking it wasn't working but I just wasn't giving it long enough, so be patient). The buttons are a little set in and not sticking out as much as they one that came with my Tahoe but that is minor stuff that I can get use to. I still have the one that came with my Tahoe and sometimes the unlock with work sometimes not so I'm thinking of getting another one of these so I will have a backup (which glad I had one the other day for sure when I lost my keys). The instructions say do the same programming steps for older key fog's but I couldn't get it to program my old one (it is half way working and dirty anyway so just going to get a new one). For under $20 I would say this is a pretty good deal and it shipped QUICK (almost as if it were prime eligible) 52004 Yukon Denali - worked for a while but.....Product has worked well for the first week thus far. I rated 4 stars because the instructions were not accurate. Perhaps they would be with a different model of vehicle but mine weren't right. If you're going to include instructions but there multiple methods out there - make note of that on the instructions. A simple YouTube search results in me successfully programming the fob. Be aware of you already have a fob and are just adding one to the family, you have to program them all together in the same sitting otherwise the missing fob gets booted from memory.UPDATE 3/2/2018: Within 1 month the key fob stopped unlocking the vehicle. The lock function works fine as does the emergency horn honking button that my 1 year old thinks is just plain magic BUT the third button has failed completely. I am sure it is some cheap solder job on the inside that needs to be fixed BUT I am taking my review to 1 star due to the product just plain not working as described. 1
